Hi RobertBurns,

Roofguy is not a PayPal employee. Only authorized employees are allowed to post in a public forum.

I would invite you to contact me again if you have not been contacted about your account. The information is forwarded off to the account management team when I receive it, so I can do additional follow-up to clarify. My email address is [email protected].

Hi there!
I am from germany, my wife from the US. we have been using paypal to send money from germany to my wife's account in the US which made it so much easier to transfer money over to her bank-account in the US. She still pays student loans and other stuff and sending money the ordinary way from europe is just ruining you.
Pay also put a restriction on both our account WITHOUT even eyplaining WHY the did that. Several emails where not even aswered. They just won't tell You what the so-called SUSPICIOUS activity is! Instead they ask confidential information which in my opinion (which is totally supported by german law, a country where paypal offers it's services) is absolutely none of their business. PAYPAL SUCKS! You do not even get to communicate with real people. Everything is always anonymous. In my opinion very unprofessional! Who do they think they are!?

topdog12,
Me thinks your right.

wolfbialon,
Would you paste and copy your PayPal problem and start a new thread. I for one would like to see if your problem is resolved by PayPal and how long it takes them. Many PayPal users have had their accounts restricted. You are not alone when you stated PAYPAL SUCKS, many feel the same way.

Roofguy, I don't even know whether I am being uncooperative; I simply have not heard from Paypal.

Have you added a bank account?

As we recall from your initial posting, PayPal stated a requirement that a bank account be added. You posted your intention to refuse to cooperate with that requirement. By what we read here, you decided to initiate an email campaign rather than meet the requirement? Or do I misunderstand?

My guess: if you would have offered complete cooperation, this issue would have been resolved in a day or two. Then, if you wanted, you could close your account.

Suspicious activity followed by lack of cooperation is simply not a path toward quick resolution. By common sense, it shouldn't be, if one wants to look like a crook, that's just how to do it.

I've known those who were attention starved enough to find opportunity to look like a crook, knowing that they were not, and express indignation that they are even under suspicion. These guys do it as an entertainment. They enjoy the role "falsely accused", and play it to the max.

Hi All,

bburd51, No, I have not made any progress with Paypal. I have written to Damon, following his post here a few days ago asking me to contact him if I have not heard from account management, but I have as yet not heard from Damon as yet.

Damon, if you are there, please write me and tell me how and when I should make the request (in 60 days?) to Paypal to have my funds returned to me.

Roofguy, I have been in touch with a Paypal employee (Damon) regarding the matters you raised (adding a bank account etc), but thanks anyway for your advise.

Regards
