Amen Amber! It is frustrating though, I know that I am losing some sales because of it but so far everyone that I have had to deny has been very understanding and have sent the payment correctly the second time. I did have one guy that paid and did not let me know what auction it was for and had a difference email address that he sent the payment thru and so I emailed him that I did not know what the payment was for and had denied the payment and I never heard from him again. No word at all but I finally figured out what auction it was for after everyone else had paid. Been about 2 months now but not a peep. Oh well, guess he did not care if he got it or not LOL!

Mitch, the reason people sell $2 items is because A)$2 is better than $0, B)those $2's add up, C)$2 is a starting point, bidding can take it higher. D)$2 items may be easier to pack, so one could pack 20 an hour, D)margins can be greater, E)less investment in inventory, F) the seller enjoys selling that item, G)$2 items may be more easliy combined with other items, H)They may attract more buyers to your auctions, I)Seller can cross sell after auction, adding a bunch of "cheap" items for one sale, J)the item has a fast turnover, lots of buyers, K)some sellers don't have the luxury to be picky on the inventory they can get especially if the price is right, L)Hey, don't you know the value of a buck?

the problem with low priced items is that the listing fee is 30 cents on ebay ,no matter how low price the starting bid is??
eventually you saturate your own market and the number of 2.00 items sold have to pay for listing fees of those which did not sell.
