Anyone that allows 4 days of grilling on eBay has to be a friend to the griller. After 4 days of helping the friend you'd have to expect they were going to be a seller there on eBay. Maybe you should have setup one auction for her to get the hang of it and you could have said that it is in very poor taste to borrow someone's text description word-for-word.
She did wrong by stealing the text but you did wrong by not telling her all of the rules of the game.
I disagree with you. Old friends get new wives or get new girlfriends, and when the old friend comes to visit, that doesn't mean the wife or girlfriend is anything other than a house guest.
If susiegirl was confronted with such rudeness from a houseguest (such as grilling susiegirl for four days on how her business works) then all susiegirl is guilty of is being a good hostess and trying her best to please the guest and avoid a scene.

Most people would stop sitting at the computer after a few minutes if they thought they were being grilled by an unfamilar houseguest. "Let's watch some TV or play some gin rummy instead of this stupid old computer".
