This is starting to tick me off.
I just entered the confirmation number of items that I know were delivered. We have already received feedback. I'm either getting "no information available" or "item not found".

I work for the USPS. Clerks at counters now have a new program in their computers that make them scan all delivery confirmation bar codes. Even the free ones. I believe this was incorporated because, if you print a free confirmation it would show mailed on that day. But what if you didn't take it to the Post Office until 3 days later. Now there is no question of when it was actually mailed. Also, some of the small Post Offices have not had their computers updated yet so they don't scan the free delivery confirmation.

i just thought it odd that one week they do scan them and then the next week theyre telling me its policy that they dont scan them now. since then none of my dc #s have shown up as delivered or even that the # exists!

Anyone had any luck yet with the Del. Conf. labels printed from the USPS website in the last 1 1/2 weeks? I have printed off about 50 labels from that time, and NONE have been entered into their computers. Anyone else?

I had 3 more that never showed up. I e-mailed USPS. They requested the confirmation numbers and the destination zips. It was a big pain to go through my e-mails and dig out which ones showed up and which ones didn't. But I want to see what their reply will be.
If you e-mail them through their website, you can save time by giving them this info in your 1st contact. They claim that they had problems over the weekend that have since be fixed.
