Play it friendly with the ex, she already helped get you the $750 and may be able to help you get more.
You should be able to nail him for fraud. He cashed your money order, sent out a completely wrong order, then doesn't correct it, possibly meaning he never had the product or expected to have the product ordered, that's fraud. Immediately contact the Postal Service and FBI.
Don't even send him a warning, he may go into hiding.

Jack, I'm truly sorry you took offense at my teasing you.
Others on this board have been intentionally mean to you at times; I never have, and never will.
From reading various of your posts, I thought I had detected more of a sense of humor, but maybe not.
I hope you read my very last line, in which I immediately made it clear that I was just playing around. Unfortunately, it doesn't pay to feel lighthearted even for a few minutes.
