Where would man be today if it wasn't for women? In the Garden of Eden eating water melon and taking it easy.

Despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, I have not yet been able to answer the great question that has never been answered: What does a woman want?

quickdraw29,
You might want to go over to the porno "About Me" or the "silicone breasts over VCR" ebay Outlook threads. No female bashing going on in EO over there! No, just wholesale degradation of women as usual. I
am sure someone has them bookmarked, if you don't already.
================
From Unknown, Letter to Isabelle Eberhardt, 18th Century:
“Don’t ever be completely masculine, because a superior woman is superior to her masculine colleagues. In you as a woman there are some exceptional qualities, but they would cease to be so attractive and so remarkable if you got too close to that other part of the human species that is EGO PERSONIFIED.”
==================
Vincent de Beauvais, SPECULUM MAJUS, 13th century:
“Woman is man’s confusion!”
=================
Rudyard Kipling, “Three and --an Extra,” Plain Tales from the Hills, 1888:
“A woman’s guess is much more accurate than a man’s certainly.”
=============
Abraham Lincoln, journal entry, 1861:
“I’m confident our great nation will have a woman President before the year 1900. And I am equally confident that having a lady in the President’s office will make our country a far better place to live.”

But this thread had some value, not only did we show that women are evil but now we know that they are also sexist. So be careful when you deal with them on ebay!
My apologies to classicrock000 for posting his picture. (Nice hat, tee hee)

Well, just for the record - I was around during "Women's Lib", and I was definitely oppposed to equal rights for women. No one ever convinced me that I should step down!

I wonder what the U.S. would have been if a woman had become President by 1900, as Abe Lincoln suggested? And there had been equal amounts of both sexes in congress, instead of almost none.
A female congressperson once said, with women finally taking places in congress we might finally get some much needed bills passed for better living conditions, not just for those of companies and the rich,
but everyone. Don't know who said it. I wonder how the country would differ?
Would the environment be polluted?
Would half the population be considered unequal by the government?
Would women do the same to men, as men have done to women?
Would this by a country for the multi-nationals or fat-cats, as it is now?
Would Laura have run and gotten elected? Or would it still be George who ran, wasn’t elected and had to steal it instead? Would Laura have had to steal it?
Would our schools be a very sad after thought or would we have some of the best in the world?
Sexist is never nice. But, how come man can’t take it? Women have put up with the same junk for years.
Maybe it doesn’t belong in the EO, but neither do thinly veiled sexist threads that pop up from time
to time.

If a women had become President, nothing would be different because she'd be under the same pressure to listen to the citizens. Look at Meg Whitman, still under pressure by the shareholders as a man CEO would be.

"a man marries a woman thinking she'll never change... but she does. A woman marries a man thinking he'll change... but he never does."
Bear- "A man who confuses beauty for wisdom, is... typical. A women who looks for wisdom in men had better have a very powerful magnifying glass!"
and Freud never thought of asking the women around him, did he...
