A year ago my brother and I were looking at the gag auction items section of ebay and he saw some goofy hologram eyeglasses he wanted. He didn't have an ebay account so I checked out the sellers feedback which was something like a 400+ rating and only 3 negatives. It was a Dutch Auction and my brother decided he wanted two pairs. I bid and we won the glasses the as next day the auction ended. I paid instantly with PayPal. Two weeks pass and no glasses which were light and to go by First Class Mail. No response from seller to an email. Three weeks pass and still no glasses or response from seller. Now I look at the seller's feedback and a few negatives are there for non-delivery of goods. Another week and the seller has about 20 more negatives and then he is NARUed.
I'm sure that this seller with an excellent feedback rating had tried his hand at drop shipping.

you have to know your dropshippers, how well capitalised are they is a big factor,if he is a small fly like you and me,dont bother.
I paid $10 to have an item drop-shipped to the customer UPS 2nd Day Air & instead, they FEDEX'ed the item to ME -- just came home & there was the $250 item under my doormat
