OK, I guess the problem is the lack of trust in 3rd party services. If these sites had strong privacy policies (we will never give your information to anyone else), would you use them? If the checkout system was clearly a home-brew system, would you use it? Would sellers be interested in using 3rd party systems that had stronger privacy policies? Does anyone meet that criteria now? Just a lot of questions, no answers. Discuss.

jrome, here is what I would like... when I click on "BIN" or when I win an auction, I would like a nice big "Pay Now With PayPal" button to appear. That makes me happy. When I "Buy It Now" and that button appears on the auction, the seller has his money just as fast as i can click that button and put in my password. When I get an EOA from either eBay or the seller, I head straight for the "Pay Now" button IF it has it. Within a minute the seller has my money and my confirmed address. And i am off looking at some other sellers stuff, or listing my own.
