This is odd- according to an article about the VAT--
"These rules only apply to downloaded digital content supplied by non-EU suppliers to consumers based in the EU," Fay said. "It does not apply to hard goods ordered from non-EU suppliers which are delivered by traditional means."
"Anyone dealing in tangible goods would already be subjecting those sales to VAT," Mitchell explained."
According to the article, if you're selling tanigble goods to Europe, you should already be paying the VAT.

You got me thinking Horsey....i did some math based on my 2 day sales which were not stellar but probably representative of the crummy market we have now...my sell through rate was 22% and my average end bid was $ 8.25 so if you put this in terms of 100 items that comes out to be $ 181.50 in sales with $15 listing fees and $9.59 FVF and $1.00/day Vendio sales manager fee giving me a remainder of $ 156.50 - my profit of course is the difference between the cost of those 22 postcards and that amount. Of course this sell through rate is much lower than my sell through rate during "good times", but I won't be losing money by listing during the half price special IF the sell through rate doesn't decline because of all the listings! That's a big IF!
It's hardly worth the effort but I like to keep some listings going to keep my name "out there" this 1/2 price listing day allows me to do just that with reduced liabilty so I have to join in the "thank you eBay" and hope for a bigger bone next time!

I just tried a relist and it came back with a $ .15 listing fee...make sure that you uncheck the gallery option if you are relisting something that was listed during the penny gallery days if you don't want to pay the 25 cents for that!
