Does your husband remember your anniversary?

Yes. He insisted we get married on Aug. 31st. It's the day before Dove season starts. Of course I don't let him kill small birds anymore. Or big birds. Actually he doesn't hunt anymore.

I'm waiting to see if my husband remembers our anniversary this April 25 - it's our 20th.

I had the date engraved in his wedding ring so he'd remember but, as it turns out, he rarely wears his ring. I'm hoping to surprise him with a short getaway trip and I'll likely succeed as he just doesn't remember dates!

Edited to add that it doesn't bother me that he forgets because he's a good husband and kind to me all year and that's what matters.

My is tomorrow it will be 22 years, Most of the time he says he remembers but someone always sends us a card , but I plan on waiting this one out just to see if he does think about it. If he does not think about it I will be mad! But then if he remembers I will wonder what he is up to????

it was the worst believe me Ken you never ever want to make that kind of mistake whooo-boy (big deep red blush) I learned the error of my ways ... I have a BAD memory and I was so nervous about forgetting my first anniversary that I semi forgot it and asked him what the date was so I could be sure to remember it, whoa, never, repeat never, do what I did... I'm so bad... now I get him flowers all the time for no reason at all ...

My husband has never missed one anniversary or birthday. We're coming up on 24 years in March.

We go to a romantic Get-A-Way each March in Southern Ohio for a 3 night stay. The official Count Down to this years stay has already begun. No TV, a secluded hot tub on a deck overlooking a wonderful gorge, gas fireplace, mini kitchen, terrific 5-7 course dinners, plenty of deer to watch in the woods with hiking trails too.

And when we feel the need to take a drive, one of the nicest antique malls I've ever been in about 15 minutes away.

Please Meya tell us the name of that lodge. It sounds wonderful! My wife would love to go there.
We went once to a resort where they were having trouble with the heat. She always brings something back from dinner as she is a light eater and not shy to ask for it wrapped in the fanciest place. This time the room was so cold she left it out on the counter and it froze.

Never forget, even though it now commemorates nothing. Is it mean to send flowers?

Meya

Could you tell us the name of that place you go? I have not finalized my plans and what you described is exactly what I'm lookking for. Is it near Mohican?

Thanks!

Zippy ... that's a touchy one... mean to you or to her or to both of you? or good and healing? only the two of you can answer.

Nice thought whether it turns out to be something you do or not.

My dear husband has never forgotten, and 21 February will be the anniversary of our 40th year together. He puts up with a lot.

My husband never forgets and he always writes a poem for me. He also wrote about love for our wedding. The women cried, the men steamed figuring thier wives would expect something romantic from them.

We weren't kids either when we got married. We both lost our first spouses. My husband is the most romantic guy in the world. Most people who know him would never believe it!

It also makes it very difficult to get ticked at him.

Thank you meya. I just got back from buying my wifes 29th anniversary present. We can not go to those cabins right now because we have her mother living with us who is an Alzhimer's patient. However when she is in a nursing home which is going to happen within the next year I will take her there. Thanks for the info.

I've only been married for a little over three years, but so far my husband has remembered every anniversary. Last year he was out of town and he sent a dozen red roses to my office.

I always worry that I'll forget, though. But it's two days before my mom's birthday so that helps.

Hubby and I can't possibly forget each other's birthdays because they're four days apart and we have "birthday week" every year.
