I rarely have enough time now-a-days to read/post, but I thought I would try this. Post your favorite lines from movies or songs, and in a few days I will see if I can blend them together to make a poem/song/entire movie script that we could all enjoy. Besides, at least it is a change from the political threads...
Here it goes:
Movie: Cool Hand Luke-
"What we got here is failure to communicate"
Song: "Astronomy", by Blue Oyster Cult-
"The clock strikes twelve and moondrops burst out at you from thier hiding place"

Won't you look down upon me, Jesus
You've got to help me make a stand
You've just got to see me through another day
My body's aching and my time is at hand
And I won't make it any other way

Song lyric:
Oh Lydia, oh Lydia, say, have you met Lydia?
Lydia The Tattooed Lady.
She has eyes that folks adore so,
and a torso even more so.
Lydia, oh Lydia, that encyclo-pidia.
Oh Lydia The Queen of Tattoo.
On her back is The Battle of Waterloo.
Beside it, The Wreck of the Hesperus too.
And proudly above waves the red, white, and blue.
You can learn a lot from Lydia!
Etc. Lydia the Tattoed Lady which I resemble
Movie lines (Murder by Death)
Miss Marbles: Good God! Gas!
Nurse: I can't help it, I'm old.
Miss Marbles: Not that kind of gas--this gas can kill!
Nurse: Sometimes my gas...
Miss Marbles: (pounding on door) Help! Help!
Nurse: (peevishly) It doesn't smell that bad to me!
