auctionace-YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
have you bot from her??
her listing fee is more than 30 cents, she uses gallery picture, thats extra.
she ships usps priority using their label with dc,so thats 3.85 plus 45 cents.
do the math and you will see ,she is in trouble, thats why she needs to issue fluffy dollars!!
and you want to follow her footsteps.
go flip burger if you know how to fill out the application form

BTW if you do a title search on "bargin" you get a whopping 107 items with that word in the title. I'll bet it's just one seller--with the handle "dumbanddumber"!!!!! (Oops, make that "dumanddummer" )

Why would anyone use Priority Mail for an item way under 12 ounces? Why would anyone not use free Priority Mail supplies but instead cut 20 cent bubble mailers in half? Why would anyone not mention Priority Mail usage in their auctions when they charge $4 for a pair if ear rings? Something aint right? Don't tarnish the image of my idol with all of this spin control.

Ace- I think the model you cited sounds like a great biz plan - whether it is or isn't Fluffy, provided you have a wholesale source and nice merchandise with great appeal. I would accept PP, however, and charge $7 s/h and combine orders for an additional $5. I've bought several items from a seller who does just that..here is a summary of her FB: 89193 positives. 36241 are from unique users.

Look at all the repeat buyers! Here is the rest of her feedback: 2927 negatives. 1121 are from unique users. Negatives are mostly about being gouged for shipping.

OOPS! I just checked her auctions ( i bought in the winter)...she used to list everything under $5.00 and had 100% sell through rate. She isn't running anywhere near that sell through now and the list price is MUCH higher!

Hmmm....looks like everybody is scrambling this summer!

There's lots of jewelery sellers that use the word bargin and start everything at one cent. Why not milk every penny out of the $4 s/h charge? You might get some neutrals and negatives from buyers that don't read or expect Priority Mail. That is a foolproof selling model even if 10% of sales are under 50 cents.

You go cat!

Well, if spent half the time you spend here criticizing other posters and tossing around insults to read other threads, your "brilliance" may shine through

ace was referring to an earlier thread, originated to share a good lead and pass along a chance for all of us to save money...

no bull.i mean cutting the bubble mailer in half and use them in shipping.
save and save again!!
just like using baking soda to brush your teeth and rinsing out used dental floss.
how about bringing back the good old depression era - used coffee ground ,spread it on newspaper and let it dry under the sun.

Just why would anyone pay 45 cents for e/DC?

Reamond,
Tell them to install the eBay toolbar. It puts a box up on the screen 10 minutes before anything in there watch list or bid list will end.
Since I started using it I haven't forgotten to bid on any auctions.
