Still dead in Central Illinois.

Will be filing for refunds on listing fees if the site ever works again!

Not holding my breath waiting for the refunds, but it will give me something to do other than get out those voodoo dolls!

This could take awhile. Here in Canada, the largest airline Air Canada got hit with the virus earlier this week & their computers were out for over 24 hours...

Denver Business Journal:

RE: Ebay

The online company is in the market for Web hosting locations to ensure its system never goes down. By locating redundant servers in several geographic areas, it can switch from one to another if severe weather, electrical outages or other unexpected occurrences bring one off-line.

"What really got us thinking was the series of blackouts in San Jose in 1998," Pursglove said. "At that time we also thought about the fact that this part of the country can be subjected to fires, floods and earthquakes."

They outsource their message boards. The only thing up is what they don't run themselves. I think they outsource their billing so you are gauranteed to have to pay what you owe them. Keep dropping that quarter and nickel into Meg and Pierre's pocket.

Here's a notice on the eBay chat room discussion board:
***eBay Power Outage*** At approximately 20:55 PDT, eBay experienced a power outage at their primary hosting facility. All site functions are currently unavailable. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience. Regards, eBay

It's all my fault, I cancelled my Selling Manager subscription earlier tonight, right before the outage. I guess they were so hurt they couldn't go on. I only subscribed to win the $2,500. (Which I don't think I won). I didnt think it would be such a messy breakup

Here in Central Missouri, eBay home page and Community servers are back, but nothing else. The only Official Announcement is the "Power Outage Announcement" which seems it was posted about 50 minutes ago.
