when you ask someone where they found that lost item they were looking for they often say "in the last place i looked". you can't exactly find something in the second to last place you look, can you? BTW, you do mean LOSE, don't you?

Marbles make a lot of noise when you drop them on ceramic tile

I lost mine in a poker game...stud poker, as I recall.

On a happy note, I walked away with Zazzie's marbles....

EXCUSE MEEEE, oh hot, stinky-breathed one!!! I ain't a'skeered o'you!

Upon reflection (and reconsideration of the intiating post to this thread), I realize that I have misread...

In fact, I have never, NEVAH! been "loose", nor shall I ever be (a previous overabundance of morals, a current lack of opportunity, I confess...) I did "lose it" once, but that is, apparently, not the subject of this thread.

Any road...I have a lovely sack of marbles here...clearies, aggies, shooters, a catseye or two. The sack has "Piffle! on one side; "Crunchies! on t'other.

Still and all...can you, specifically, identify these marbles? If so, you may have them all ('cept the catseye...), I'll be keepin' it for my trouble all these years...

Beth

I'm not sure that I had one to lose in the first place.
If you find a spare one can I try it?
