I am SO MAD AT YU, lindajean!
(no, not really, in fact I wish I could give you a hug)
In these times, $300 is a LOT of money to spend on principle. I wouldn't have done it. I have become a real miser. Not losing $300 IS the principle to me.
Have you thought about what your feedback is going to be to her?
how about "LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE"
If I were doing one of those "changing spaces" shows- I'd buy your crap postcards and use them as wall covering. There's an idea for you. Wash them over with white glaze after they are all pasted on the wall, so you don't have to seee too many details.

I think I just felt I had no choice. I should have read the feedback.

A lesson for everyone. Don't be fooled by 3,000 or 4,000 or even 12,000 positives. Check it out and see what the negs are for and how many.

But, in all fairness, I have bought lots of things from people including Marie at onecentcds that are great and who get lots of undeserved negative feedback.

Next time, I will be more careful!

Guess I will have to start spreading out and searching other states for better deals. Nevada doesn't have much to offer.

I think this is a turning point that most specialty dealers reach sooner or later. It's frustrating to be geared up to sell at a certain volume but not be able to source the merchandise.

That's why I gave up selling vintage costume jewelry. There just weren't any large buys to be had. One man back East kept trying to sell me his room full of costume jewelry. I wanted pictures, he would send photos that were out of focus. I wanted designer names, he would counter with "and this is what my jeweler said". He claimed to have over 10,000 pieces and when I did finally get to see, it was almost all '60s plastic/rhinestone crap. You know, big pink and yellow daisies. Sigh.

I did buy a huge lot of sterling souvenir spoons on eBay and it was wonderful when it arrived. But the seller never had any more. What do you do?

(In my case, I moved on to new merchandise. Easier to find.)
