How cool for you! Hope it does great!

I love posts like this. I always learn a lot, and it's nice to know there's a place to come to when you're stuck! I enjoy seeing other people's finds.

I guess you could say I'm lazy too, if you wanted to look at it that way..I just prefer to call it more effective time management.

Ace...On Monday, my wife and I took a friend to a nearby casino for her birthday. I couldn't help but notice some of the Indian artwork that was displayed in various areas. This is artwork that was added since our last visit in April. I think there are a few other casinos in the Central part of the state that are incorporating Native American art into their decor. This may be a whole new market that has come into being since Lucy sold hers a year ago. If I were Paloma, I'd be grinning like a cat with a mouth full of feathers about now and getting ready to write up a description.

I wish you all could have seen me. A few friends dtopped over and I was just about to try to undo the frame thing. They watched. As I pulled the cardboard backing away from the frame they said my eyes were as big as saucers. All I could say was oh my god over and over again. They didnt understand what had just happened and then I explained. They left about 20 minutes later. I was still in shock.

I dunno, they seem inexpensive on ebay so I wouldn't get too excited. The price Ohmslucy got will be the true indicator of value as her prints were almost the same. I bet her prints were sold fairly recently as she still has retained the images.

I don't know about the value of these prints but I would suggest that you do not put them back in that greeny-blue burlap matt. It just shouts out "non archival" to me. I would ditch the frame as well or give the buyer an option to take it since it will increase the weight. I would scan or photograph the front and back of the actual print.

As a long time print collector I am very reluctant to buy any print that is matted or framed because you never know what is under the matt. It may be that someone just wants them because they are cute but you might as well appeal to the print collector as well.

Good luck with the listing.

Hi all,

I don't remember exactly what mine sold for, seems like it was somewhere between $20-25. I'm sure I had more than one bidder.

Wish I could look up the old auction, I'd post the text for Paloma to use.

I agree w/photosensitive - ditch the frame. As I posted earlier, mine were in a mat only, probably that's how they were sold.

Lucy

P.S. Thanx for the sympathy...
