"I use DC even though I know it means nothing"

That is absolutely untrue

1) DC is good enough for paypal as proof of mailing/delivery

2) It is usually right. I've NEVER had a package that says delivered be argued by someone. One time someone said they did not get the package, I showed it was delivered. He said yeah, he had a problem with people stealing packages from his mailbox. I am glad I had DC, because once the package is in HIS mailbox, it is not MY responsibility if it is stolen. That is between him, the post office, and the local police.

Ok, DC point taken. However, if the post office on either end neglects to scan it, it's no good. Anyway, just received something I won that is postmarked on 11/3 from two states away. Ten days to get here via a bubble wrap envelope. Just an example of how things have slowed down.

How about showing some common courtesy and tell these good people your "decision"?

Or is that a big mystery as why the package hasn't arrived yet?

Cheryl is right. If it isn't scanned the DC is no good. I have found that out in the past couple of months my eDC has not been scanned at the end and that is very upsetting. Most of my packages are 1st class with 3/4 inches thick and I spring for the eDC so I can check to see if they have been delivered. Wow, what a shock when I go in and no scanning done before delivery. I guess they are to busy opening the media mail packages. I have had no problems with Priority Mail packages.
I understand that even though the Global
priority has a bar code it is never scanned at it's final destination just like the bar code on the customs forms. They are useless bar Codes and this came from a postmaster. It just shows that you mailed it.

Well, if the DC isnt scanned and it shows on your receipt....the postal clerks are not doing their job right. I've never had that problem so far.

Ace, did you know you were going to pay 9.00 shipping? Sounds unusual for you. You must have really wanted that item?

I tell ya boy, the minute I slack and dont answer an email within 1 day....I feel guilty. I couldnt imagine as a buyer not hearing from the seller at all.

As far as the OP goes, If anybody cares for my opinion....lol.. I'd say give it a few days more and then file your PP claim. Since seller did not have DC, you will get yoyur money back.

I once sent something w/o DC ...where my head was that day,I dont know..but the item was delayed in shipping and buyer could have very well said it never showed. I so was grateful they didnt do that, tho. (It eventually got there like 3 weeks later.)
