She has a couple of firey posts over there at OTWA about almost being suspended for VERO infractions. $18K per year in ebay fees. Wow! That's a lot of fees.

she must be selling vero items under a diff id??
she has 4500 items in 30 days,so 18k is just 1500 a month

Auctionace - What is OTWA?

I think Fluffy went in for an extreme makeover and will be coming back as a sweet little pussycat. (Maybe not!)

The VERO items had to be under her main ebay ID. The first auction were pulled by the VERO seller even after Fluffy changed the violating words. The second violation was a scheduled lauch auction that she forgot about. The new VERO search software must have caught it right away and that auction was also ended.

OTWA = Online Traders Web Alliance which is Andale's message boards.

Well, if the fluffster went to OTWA I guess she's/he's looking for a new group of suckers looking for her/his supposed expertise in all. Good luck to he/she. Her/His posts were somewhat worthwhile but we can manage without them. It's amazing what you can do if you look for the answers yourself instead of asking the supposed experts.

wgm -- Your cat must love you alot. Or maybe she's on kitty-Paxil.

Did someone say Fluffy had an IT job? I thought she was #57 on the Army's most wanted Iraqi list. She's the square root of 2 of clubs in the deck. Really. I saw it. Someone I know got a package of earrings from her with a return address of "The desert 23 kilometers west of Mosul."

Pelorus - honestly? I am NOT a cat person! LOLOL There isn't enough money in the world for me to have one as a pet...although I do think the photos are cute...

I am strictly a dog person - have an adorable little silky who doesn't realize she is a dog LOL (not counting my little boy's gerbil, frogs, and sea monkeys)

Wow, you guys/gals can be vicious. Remind me to never disappear. Wherever fluffy is I hope all is well. I'm still peeved over him/her telling me I've given more wrong information than anyone else on this board. So, if I don't comment as much as I used to, that's why. Don't want to steer anyone wrong.

Edited to add: I avoided commenting here because for some unknown reason, fluffy doesn't like me so. I guess I may face the fluffy fury again.

Cheryl/CBlev,

Don't you worry about the Fluffster...we want to hear your comments here on this board. You've always given great advice. If someone doesn't want to take it - they don't have to follow it and they can go elsewhere.

Keep your comments coming...they're always welcome!

From AuctionAce:

"I just checked and she has 300+ auctions running."

AuctionAce: Is Fluffy's selling ID on
the Nortica eBay 500 list? A yes or no
answer would be sufficient. Thank
you in advance.

I'm not AuctionAce, but I looked through that list and, no, Fluffy isn't on it. However, that list says it is from July, if that makes a difference. Is there a newer one?

Hi:

Yes, there is a newer one than that (November 2003). It's the most recent one.

Here is the link:

I don't KNOW Fluffy's id for sure..but if it's the one I guess it is, she is nowhere near that list and is sporting a red star. She has lots of repeat buyers that don't count in the FB number.

Of course I think she has said she has more than one selling id, so maybe she is, in one personna or another or should be if you put them all together.

But WHO KNOWS??????????? And in the end, does it really matter?

It's not that hard to figure out why the Fluffster has stopped listing. She has often stated that
1) She does not accept electronic payments &
2) She shuts down her operation a week before Christmas.
With those two facts in mind it makes sense that she would not continue listing right now since there needs to be a lead time to allow for mailing between the time the last of her active auctions close and her last day of shipping.

Shes got this down to a science that works for her obviously and its a safe bet that she will have far less last minute freakouts from her customers than many of us who will try to milk this to the last concievable day. I envy her that.

I think you mean 'posting' instead of 'listing'. If Fluffy were on a Top seller list she'd be around No. 5,000 with only $18,000 for fees per year. She has recently posted over at OTWA so she still posts.
