Complete the sentence... "I wish ebay would ___"
In my case, I wish ebay would allow you to specify the end time of an auction up to 10 days.
If I want to start an auction at 8:00 in the morning, but have it end at 8:00 at night, I should be free to do so.
They wouldn't lose pricing, anything longer than seven days could still have the 10 cent surcharge. And perhaps have a minimum 24 hour listing. You could still set it to end at 1, 3, 5, 7, or 10 day intervals as you do now, but it would be much more versatile to be able to have a 4.5 day auction and get the target end time.

Charge non paying bidders a 25% fee of winning bid price for not honoring their bid.
Then have ebay give the sellers listing and FVF's back for these auctions.
Can you tell what kind of day I am having..LOL

I wish ebay would refund the damn listing fee on NPBs.
I wish ebay would lower their fees on cars ( only 1,100 listed now )
I wish ebay would outlaw both Dutch and Reserve Auctions.
I wish ebay would make the 98% feedback rating for PowerSeller status a real 98% and not a hidden formula whereas PowerSellers with a 96% - 97% rating are still in good standing.
I wish ebay wouldn't hide some many of it's rules - such as the NPB per 6 months before suspension or the number of 'Ask the Seller' questions that can be made in a 24 hour period.

1)Be able to specify the exact start time, and END time of the auction.
2)Expand the immediate payment required thing so that it would apply to auctions. Kinda like Priceline. When you place a bid, they (ebay) put a hold on funds in your paypal account for the maximum amount of the bid. When you get outbid the hold is released. When the auction closes funds are immediately sent to the seller.
3)There are lots of people who for a variety of reasons do not have any credit cards or a checking account. Allow these people to open and fund paypal accounts with money orders sent to paypal through the US mail.
4)Ebay should report revenue in 3 categories. 1) Listing fee's 2)Final value fees 3)Other. for the past 5 years. I'm willing to bet that 3 years ago 90% of their revenue was from final value fees. Now 90% is from listing fee's

Non paying bidders did nothing but waste our time and MONEY! No FEED BACK Allowed, (which is always nothing but lies about how they did pay.) Once completed and it says block bidder it auto locks them from saying anything too. E baY KNOWS. THEY MAKE IT hard ENOUGH.
Get the STATE of the bidders/sellers in the Feed back score card. United States, tells us Nothing anymore.
Knock it off with all these sign in's with our passwords,,,,all day long for seems like everything you want to do. Sign in,,that's it.....do whatever.
Quit burying anything that has REAL value and trying to locate it.
Talk to NEW potentential buyers with a more stern approach. This is NO Game, this is a selling business.....and YES,,,,make them pay if they don't pay US they pay direct to e bay. Why penalize the ones who feed their bank account? Sellers!
I'll think of some more, right now, back to filing on more NPB.

... have lower fees for Gallery since the market driven competition in some catagories makes it de rigeur in order to even bother listing!
... lower there starting fees and increase fvf that way people with cheap įŽ@P like I tend to have (hey! some of it actually sells!) have incentive to move it along. If you have a bunch of bidders great! Pay the fvf, but if you sell your item for a few bucks...well anyhow
...Yes, I agree with Fluffy, Play by the rules on an even playing field. I have turned in spammers, people with out proper emails and people who are violating rules (no I am not a cop, but if I run into while I am looking to purchase, you bet I am going to grumble!) and most of the time it's nada!

I wish ebay would add a lower listing fee for items that start under 5.00.
And I wish ebay would have a free listing day soon so I could afford to list those things I want to start at under 5.00. And I wish ebay was still the smaller auction service it started out as with the unique hard to find stuff that made it so much fun.

Keep it for the people & ban LARGE companies from selling on eBay.
I'm with JACK on this one, big time....Ban NPB from leaving FB
Remove negs when the problem is worked out & stated so in a follow up.

i wish ebay will tell paypal to tell those who abuse personal account to upgrade to premier or business account.

Break out the Antiques and Collectibles from the other items like they do with the Motors - and let the sellers that made ebay wealthy have a chance again!!
Make new bidders put up a charge card and charge them the seller's fees if they don't pay.
Post the FB % right behind a bidders ID just like the seller's so we (and everyone else on ebay) can see it right off. This would cut down on some NPB - I bet.
Ditto on all the FB stuff!!

And make it so that we can block bidders simply by their percent and the feedback rating.
So I could say "No one under 95% positive with at least 10 feedback" or something like that.
Perhaps blocking in this manner requires a surcharge (to encourage listing that anyone can bid on and so people would use it sparingly). General widgets you might not want to block, but that rare 1940s superwidget, you don't want to waste you time on a potential NPB.

I second the lower listing fees for items under $5.00. But I'm sure they'll tell us that lower listing fees are available in Ebay stores...BUT store items aren't included in the search function which is #2 on my wish list.

have the price of it's stock collapse to the point where it was virtually worthless, and then Pierre could come back and buy the whole company again. And then they wouldn't have to worry about reporting to Wall Street about having gazillion listings(and growing), and they could go on as what was originally intended. Person to person friendly business. An Internet flea market again, instead of the Internet Wal-Mart it's becoming.

I wish Ebay would split into two sites. One for sellers of new merchandise and the other for used items. They could do it similar to the way they did it with automotive items when they set up Ebay Motors.

Hi Kiara
To top it off, today is my son's birthday. Seems like most of our family has bdays in December. My wife takes credit for delivering Sadam Hussein for my birthday present. I told her Osama Bin Laden would look nice chained up under the Christmas tree and would make a great present for me and our Rottweiler this Christmas. She's working on it
