I turned 50 last year and instantly started falling apart.
I guess my warranty just ran out. That is how it usually goes with a car warranty, eh?

Well, my husband and I work together and on line full time with 4 web sites, and 2 auction sites. We're together 24/7 and have been married 21 years. I'm 63 and he is 44 - yes, sometimes these "boy toys" work out! I was 42 and he was 23 when we married in 1982.
Mentally, I think we are both about 30 - with interludes of 16!!!
We share all this “togetherness” with 5 inside dogs, who are also with us 24/7, under foot, under desks, beside chairs, and in our house one is always escorted to the bathroom by one or more dogs!

Hi everybody,
I'll be 62 next month and will roll my trousers up another notch.
(If I hadn't retired at 55, I'd be 82 next month.)

Good for you jwpc. I am 69 next month and still looking for that boy toy. Between arthritis, hearing loss, bad knees, high blood pressure, glasses and incontinence, I just know he is right around the corner waiting for me. {: )

I fit in here somewhere, older than the youngest and younger than the oldest. Over the internet, we all show our youth and "age" is only a number.
This is an old one but thought I'd post it anyways.

DaMX, I HAVE GRANDCHILDREN AS OLD AS SOME OF YOU! I CELEBRATED THE 37TH ANNIVERSY OF MY 39TH BIRTHDAY IN NOVEMBER!! Sorry, I didn't mean to shout, forgot the caps lock was on. I had just printed an address label. Anyway I am just as good once as I once used to be.

I am happy to say I just turned 65 because I was able to retire. I love retirement!
Jwpc, my husband is only 5 years younger so we have a few more years of earned income.

I have "sort of" an oxymoron that I made up, all by myself, for folks in our 50ish age bracket:
We're not gettin' older ...
We're gettin' groovier!
