Hey Jack, how did you know what my UPS guy looks like anyway?
I fixed UPS on that ring and run thing. They ring the doorbell, the dog barks. Domino Pizza advertisement doorbell on TV, the dog barks. UPS rings the doorbell, the dog thinks it's the Domino Pizza advertisement.....at least I finally taught the UPS guy to ring the doorbell twice!

I wish i knew HOW to post pic's.....I got five o' these guys,,,,,I love 3 and two just eat,,,,,and eat and eat,,,,,ALLEY types,,,,,gulping cheap wine, the ones I LOVE have schrimp!!!!!!!! with there,,,,,cheap wine.......actually they sip,,,VODKA! hahahaha....THIS Charles, Two bucks,,,does sound interesting,,,,,,Trader Joes,,,HERE I Come......$2. bucks? It's not a cochlear implant. This is a middle ear implant of a hearing aid.
Although there are several devices out already in clincical trials, those still have an external device. This one is totally inside your head, with a 4 year life pacemaker type battery. It's waterproof, invisible AND the sound quality is superior to wearing a hearing aid. Because of the design, it restores hearing back to almost 90+% "natural" hearing.
St. Croix medical has done cochlear ear implants for years and years. They bought the rights to the Envoy system which was formally called Vibrant Soundbridge and it was already or almost FDA approved. They've been doing the implant overseas for some time, but you know how long it takes to get FDA approved. I think the cost is like $15,000 for each ear, or was.
(A cochlear implant is for profoundly deaf people and while it doesn't restore hearing, it does transmit sounds) That is what the former Miss America has, Heather Whitestone has.
