TOKYO (AP) ---- A 114-year-old Japanese woman who just weeks ago assumed the title of the world's oldest person died Thursday, a Hiroshima official said.
Mitoyo Kawate, who was born May 15, 1889, died of pneumonia, said Hiroshima city spokesman Masatoshi Yamada.
London-based Guinness World Records recognized Kawate as the oldest person on Oct. 31, after Kamato Hongo, also from Japan, died at age 116.
The oldest person is now Charlotte Benkner, of North Lima, Ohio, born Nov. 16, 1889, the records organization said.
Kawate, who had four children, was a farmer in Hiroshima until she was 100 years old, Yamada said.

Lockheed F-117 NightHawk
One of the most remarkable things about the F-117A was that in an open society such as that of the United States, an advanced combat aircraft could have been designed, built and entered service in fair numbers, and operated for several years, all in conditions of almost complete secrecy. There were of course some rumours about a so-called F-19; and many artists impressions, all of which were highly inaccurate, found their way into print, which aided security by muddying the waters futher. The NightHawk, as it is unofficially known, started life in 1973 as a design study codenamed Have Blue, the object of which was to determine to what degree an aircraft could be made invisible to radar and IR detection systems. The result was two Experimental Stealth Tactical (XST) prototypes which first flew in mid-1977. Results being satisfactory, the decision to develop a production aircraft was taken about one year later, and this first flew from Groom Lake (Area 51) in June of 1981.

Hi all,
Just so you know... California 128 begins at its junction with California 1 near Albion, follows the Navarro River inland southeast toward Philo and Boonville, and joins southbound U.S. 101 at Cloverdale.
U.S. 101 and California 128 remain merged from Cloverdale south to Geyserville (Junction Sonoma County Route C-1), and California 128 continues southeast to meet California 29 at Calistoga.
From Calistoga, California 29 and 128 together serve the northern half of Napa Valley, and California 128 heads east on its own at Rutherford, south of St. Helena. Skirting the south shore of Lake Berryessa, California 128 ends at its junction with Interstate 505 in Winters.
So what's the point in all this seemingly useless info? Hwy 128 runs through the wine country, home of Two-Buck-Chuck.
