Lucy - yep - it's a bird. I spent 5 minutes chasing him thru the place trying to get it from him then gave up when he tossed it up in the air batted it around and there was no movement. He's declawed too but that does not stop him. He used to catch humming birds from my old balcony and got a mouse the first night in this place (first and last one I have ever seen). I finally got the bird when he was not paying attention for a second and took it out to the dumpster, when I came back he was digging undr the rug trying to find it and finally settled on just eating all the remaiing feathers.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Junebug,
When my birdie is sitting anywhere close to the computer
and decides to take flight, the breeze blows any and all papers and other light stuff
down onto the floor.
I did take him in for a wing clip last week - when he took off and ended up in the guest room toilet,
(fortunately he was "tail down" so there was no harm done) I figured it was time.

Fenix - Give that kitty a can of tuna - he deserves it. Any cat that gets rid of mice is A-Okay in my book.

wgm, your crayon note is a treasure & absolutely from your son's heart.
glassgrl, yes, he is cute.
Last year he was so sick my vet thought I should put him down, he was too sick for them to treat so I took him to U of Penn vet hosp & they said they would treat him but he had very little chance of making it.
He had a severe reaction to a medicine he needed for hyperthyroidsm & it almost killed him. His bone marrow stopped making red blood cells.
Three blood transfusions, etc & 3 months later radio active iodine procedure to "cure" his thyroid problem & here he is. He had gone down to four & a half pounds. He looks great now, healthy & happy too.
He's a very nice guy.

Lucy-I am imagining that whole scenario in my head
We love our pets but just think of how much quicker we could get our work done if they didn't keep making messes
We had a mouse once-scared the hell out of me..but June who has been an indoor cat since he was born and is declawed got him in about a minute..It's just in their nature

Here's Lemmy....She is my husband's replacement kitty .His (luna) got ran over by a car about 6 months ago  So I brought this one home for him....It's taken 5 months for him to say he likes her lol but she's trying real hard to work her way in his heart (she's winning lol !)He's such a sucker.This one is not allowed out the house...By order of the KING rofl !

Back to desks..this is my upstairs work station...a table (not a desk) and I think it's time for a new tablecloth  - a pic of my daughter and me is the pc wallpaper
I couldn't fit in my blooming flowers so here's another..
We have just decided to put my 16 year old "Fluffy the Wondercat" to sleep tomorrow - a sad day ! I am going to try to find her for a last picture

Oh sorry to hear that about your cat neglus . My aunt just had to do the same with her 16 yr. old kitty...he had cancer in his tummy and they said he would just suffer if she didn't put him down.

Here's my cat... well, I don't know if you'll buy that but here he is anyway. The human is my son, John.
I wonder when the others will be in to show us pics of their desks. Maybe they're chicken... LOL!

I don't see the [*img] take out the *** put your link here[*/img]
you must have the [ ] at the beginning and end of your cut & pasted link with img inside it for Image or Url for link.
don't anybody do it for him, it's time people learned how to do this.

I WANT GREEN GRASS AND LEAVES ON TREES !!WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood too...the white outside my window is the snow on top of the still frozen lake..what spots of grass we have are brown...I HAVE SPRING FEVER!

okay theres something Im not getting-when I click on the pic and then click properties after I loaded up to vendio I dont see any (img*) before or after-theres just a grey box with the line after the (img*)
Do I have to manually type these in after I cut and paste from the properties?
