Ah, It is not a good idea to bundle your services with one vendor. Spread it around and if a problem arises you only have to scramble to recover part of the picture. Just my experience speaking.

If you want insurance, you could always get a UPIC account and keep the records yourself. Since I am selling off the last remaining inventory on ebay, I decided to cancel my Endicia account and just use PayPal. I lose the cashback on the debit card, but I doubt that it was even close tothe service fee I paid Endicia.

I've been printing the labels at USPS.com for a while now. The gain with the PayPal way is you don't have to type in the address and can hide the postage (although I don't).
The problem for me with the PayPal service is I package at night and ship the next day from work. USPS let's you specify the shipping date and shipping zip code, PayPal doesn't. Technically the PO can refuse the package with a wrong date or zip code. I wrote to PayPal and their answer was essentially "although postal regulations require you to get it right, we're a big inflexible company and are not going to change."
I print on regular paper and use Elmer's spray on adhesive to stick it to the package.
