I think Cheryl is the last person in the world who would ever brown-nose me. I also think she is concerned (as am I) about recklessness and imprudent behavior.
I may be wrong, but I thought you had mentioned in another thread that you were aware of people making and selling copies. Can we assume that the original vs. copy question is one you'll be asking from here on out?

Hi BIZZY: you said:
"I paid both via paypal. If they don't refund my money voluntarily, do I have any recourse? These two transactions totalled about $100...."
-------------
and,
----------------
"i dont need mumbo jumbo," etc - well, one can post all the threads they want voicing opinions of what can/will happen...
-----------------------
Hell just demand your money back-that'll take less time than a post; if the demand fails; resort to paypal...you will find out soon enuff whether you can recoup...you can find out who is right, right?

Oh and one other thing fluffy, if you would bother to take the time to actually READ the posts, you would note that I have only posted a couple of time about the copies versus original topic. But then again, I knew you would come to the rescue of one of your brown-nosers.
But then the question is, WHO APPOINTED YOU THE JULIUS CAESAR OF THIS BOARD????? As far as I have seen you have contributed NOTHING and bashed everyone in that oh-so-special way that you have about you. GAG!

"I did go back and re-read the listings and nowhere does it say that they were selling copies."
Did it say they were selling original patterns? Seems like a technicality to me. If you are so concerned with having only originals, why not "Ask Seller a Question" and ask?
I don't think MsLucy is playing any game with you - she is probably trying to follow the thread. Lucy is probably one of the nicest posters here, and there is no need to attack her for not seeing your point or agreeing with you.
I went back and read this thread from your initial post, and it seems like a lot of people have taken their time to try to help you. No one has been rude or disrespectful to you at all.
Haven't you heard the old adage "you get more flies with honey than vinegar?" If not, read it again three times, turn off your computer, and get bizzy crocheting

WGM -- Considering it is illegal to sell copies of patterns, why should I have to ask the seller if they are following the law? The answer is: I shouldn't!!!
As for catching flies and honey and all of that crap ... I have been kind and helpful to everyone on this board. I have offered my legal experience as well as my knowledge with ebay. It took me 2 months before I would even post in this forum because of the way certain members have a way of slamming and getting nasty with other members. And you know what? I ain't gonna put up with that crap.
I come to this forum seeking answers and I won't put up with those that feel that it is their right to slam me or otherwise make me feel like I don't have a right to ask my questions. That is what this forum is for. Others have been chased away, but I'm not going nowhere. Fluffy can play her game! As far as I'm concerned, she's met her match.

Bizzy, for God's sake! Calm down. No one is out to get you, you are not the target, and NOBODY that I know of on this board has ever before been accused of brown-nosing Fluffy! Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't. Lucy is one of neatest, smartest people on this board, and we can all learn from her. If you can't stand the heat, I respectfully suggest you get out of this kitchen right now.

wgm...Good advice about the vinegar and honey, but a little too late I'm afraid. After that unwarranted menopausal tirade against Lucy and Fluffy, I'm afraid there may be a credibility gap between her and many posters on this board that will be very difficult to narrow.

Sorry, Sparkz, but I'm nowhere near menopause.
I belong to many community forums and I cannot believe how many sit and put up with this crap.
Sparkz, perhaps you need a dose of your ginko to get it right. 40 doesn't hit menopause yet sweetie!

In the interests of learning and seeing as how I generally avoid slang, I looked up a word that came to mind while reading this post.
The definition is: A state of nervous excitement or confusion; a dither.
Another definition...
A fit of violent emotion, such as anger or panic. Also called a conniption fit.
The person who comes up with the correct answer will be sent a COPY of a vintage crochet pattern absolutely free of charge! Come to think of it, I have six or seven copies. First come - first served! I'll even pay the postage.

Sparkz -- I'm sorry ... Recognize what? Being one of those that puts up with the snide remarks and crap that goes on in this forum ... Sorry, but you really did have me mistaken. I'm a bit more intelligent than that! I ask questions to learn -- not to be bashed and beaten down. I have learned alot through all of the BS that has been said in between the answers. I just chose now to open my mouth (or should I say fingers) to put a stop to it. I'm not a punching bag. Ooops ... sorry ...
