Oh yeah, Stop/Start Whining, I can see how foreigners might get confused reading something as lengthy as this:

--
Shipping is $5.00 inside the United States. Fluffy doesn't ship internationally, and no, we have not yet annexed Canada as the 51st state. Insurance is $1.00 extra. Delivery Confirmation is included in the price of admission.

Fluffy's Laws.

Payment: PayPal, personal check or money order are the only acceptable forms of payment.

Fluffy does not combine auctions.
There is a flat shipping charge for each lot. See above. Like oil and water, Fluffy's auctions don't mix.

Shipping is via United States Postal Service, First Class.

All sales are final. Fluffy's items are closeouts.

The shipping fee applies to each auction and each auction lot is shipped separately.

California bidders must pay 7.75% CA sales tax or include a completed and signed resale card.

Payments from California bidders that don't include sales tax will be returned.

And yet some of 'em STILL get it wrong...

Kiara,
Being an American has nothing to do with the statement. Believe me when I say Kraft knows exactly what I mean.
I will leave it at that.

ccharmed: You are exactly right!! We, Americans are self-centered, provincial and pretty much full of ourselves. I think you should get away from us as soon as possible. We wouldn't want to drag you down to our level. Perhaps you would like to ride away on the back of "parklanes" buzzard.

Hi Sparkszzzzzz,

I am a foreigner...and can read plain English.....English...????? Isn't that a foreign language...? England, isn't that in Europe somewhere...? LOL

regards, from the Netherlands !

Byt the way....You are rite about the shipping... If I could choose, I also would ship to the US only...I have never got any trouble, shipping to the US...Even buyers in the Netherlands claim that they haven't received an item or so...Just trying to receive any kind on refund....

But that's why we use feedbacks

regards !

I hope someone remembers, a long time ago someone posted on here a board from the United Kingdom, Their discussion topic was Americans and how difficult we were to ship to and buy from. I remember one poster saying I wonder if they talk about us, like we talk about them.Hope I can dig it up.

i dont know what uk sellers have to say about US buyers or vice versa?
but one day i received an email from a jewelry seller written to another seller and it was forwarded to me by mistake:
In that email, the writer complained how ignorant and tasteless the ebay bidders are and they know absolutely nothing about gemstones and jewelry and she would not even waste her time listing some of her better jewelry as they would never know any better!!

We don’t ship outside the USA, because we have been on ebay 8 years, and at one time we did ship outside the USA, and ended up with endless problems, regardless of what we were shipping. From time to time we have succumb to the pleading of a customer and shipped to Canada, and the last was the usual endless problem, with lost product, no real way to track it, an irate customer, who was warned in the beginning that we had had problems shipping to Canada. A few years ago, we shipped an antique sewing machine to a Canadian Government official, and even with his pull, it almost never got through customs. This last fiasco with Canada was a set of 12 Plate Chargers, and who knows where they ended up.

Over the years we have determined that shipping outside the USA is simply more trouble than it is worth, not only awaiting International Money Orders, answering endless e-mails, and then praying the stuff gets through their customs, and their faulty postal system. As far as foreign charges, forget it, no one, including our own credit card processor will protect us from charge backs made on credit cards based on foreign banks.

I have NOTHING against those who live outside the USA, but their customs departments, and their postal services are often the pits.

We do ship to all the US Territories, and haven’t had any problems in that.

Hi again..

You are rite !!!...even as a citizen of the Netherlands, I still think that the best customers are living in the US !
I had 2 neutrals from 2 Dutch customers....and 2 negs from a Korean and a German.. I never had any trouble with US EBayers !

That's why I still offer my listings on ebay.com and a few on ebay.nl

But offering listings on ebay.nl just costs me 0.10 Euro even with gallery...and that's the best way to sell lot's and lot's cheap items like 1 Euro stamps (and most of the time even less..)

Ciao !

jwpc said it all!

I also have nothing against anyone outside the USA. But, most seem to have problems with waiting 6 weeks for a package and start emailing me in 2 and threatening in 4. I had one heavy item that sold for $195 take 3 months to reach Australia. That ended the international shipping for me.

Like I said, I do ship my postcards everywhere. And, I do not charge excessive postage to do so. I charge $1.50 for s&h within the USA...costs me 60 cents but the rest covers the plastic case, envelope, etc. Shipping internationally runs me $1.60 most of the time and I charge $2.50. I still get nervous when I ship other places (especially since Neglus posted some of the problems she has had with some) but I will continue to offer worldwide shipping for anything that will fit in a small envelope.

For records and books, s&H inside the USA is cheap thanks to media mail. Outside the USA the cost is way too high and 99% of the bidders will chose to save $2 and request ground shipping then complain when it is not received quickly

I wish I could sell worldwide. I have enjoyed my communications with everyone. But, it just isn't worth it (at least for me).

In defense of Canadians...some of my best customers have been from Canada and other than a few requests for that infamous "gift" on the customs (which I don't do) I have had no problems whatsoever with them. I do offer USA & Canada on all items because I can easily put an exact shipping cost to Canada inside my listing
