fluffy Although we had a "standard" phone number, we always put our shop number on e-mails and information letters.

THEN, a few months back, a customer got crafty and found our home number and began calling. The very next day we had our phone number unlisted, as I will not have customers calling me at home, that is why we clearly offer them the phone number to the shop.

REGARDING Canadians, we have had the same issue with endless problems with Canadian shipments.

I am going to check on the UPS situation, we have a UPS account, and daily pick up, and I might consider shipping to Canada, but only via UPS - what alone should keep most from trying to buy, as it is more costly than USPS.

I do deal with Canadians, I can't wait to find one that doesn't ask me to mark the item as a gift, or reduce the value. It's gotten to the point that I am really considering putting this in my EOA notice that I will not do this. If that is all they ask, then I just ignore the email. If they ask something else with that, I simply explain that I ship from a small post office (and I do) - I ship hundreds of packages a week and don't ship gifts internationally. I don't know, if I don't like something here, I try to change it. Maybe Canadians have no power to do so. We recently had a county income tax imposed on us last year, and I am getting involved in trying to repeal it. Seems more useful than complaining about it or trying to get around it.

it is just like someone who has lost control over his life find comfort and triumph in shoplifting a cheese ball at the local supermarket.
