Don't like the New one as much as I liked the Old one!

But I didn't like the Old one as much as the Older one.

So it won't be long before I like this New one more than the Newer one coming!

I've been using the BETA version so I can answer a couple of the questions.

To see which are auction, fixed price, or store inventory, you need to Customize and add "Format" to the data being shown - moving it from the left box to the right box. You can then resort the order info is displayed in the right box to your liking.

You can change the default landing page when you hit "My eBay" from eBay Prefences under "MY ACCOUNT" on the left hand side.

A lot things can be done by using "customize" to change what info is and isn't seen, and by changing the date range info is shown in.

So far I have 3 main objections to the new page.

The "format" option only shows the store items until the auction closes then it disappears. I keep my store inventory in a different spot from my auction items. Would be nice to see at a glance which are store items in my CLOSED auctions.

The page doesn't fit on my screen. I have to scroll over to the right to see all the info. Inconvienent and annoying.

There is no longer a prompt in the closed auctions for the items that still need to be sent an invoice. I may just go back to sending them through Vendio.

Otherwise I can figure the rest out...but it was nice having all the auction info along with your financial info on one page.

Amber: I found 'Payment Reminder' [although i don't use that] ..... click on "Sold" on the left, then click "Awaiting Payment" ... it gives you a list of all your items that are awaiting pmt., and the ones that are 3 or more days old have a "Send Payment Reminder" button to click.

AintRichYet I don't know what I am doing wrong, but there is no "payment reminder" button on my page when I do that.
Another question, I know that a lot of seller like me leave feedback after the buyer leaves it. When I click on "feedback" on the left, all I get is the list of feedbacks not yet left. The only way I could do it today was to open two windows and go back and forth to see who had left it, and then leave mine. There must be an easier way.

Amber - the last column of the "sold" listings (pull up "sold" all by itself) is marked when Feedbackis received. You can leave Feedback right from the page by clicking on the "pull down arrow" by "View Payment Status" (right click to open leaving feedback in new window or you will have to back track to get to the "sold" page again.

Under "All Selling" then "Sold" Your totals are at the top of the page. There is a menu at the right where you can set it for a certain number of days or the current month...whatever.

The only thing better I have seen is the ability to see how many people have an auction on their watch list. They could have appended that feature to version 1 and saved a fortune on developer fees for V2. I certainly hope they are paying royalties to Baconbuttie for adapting his idea.

I think it's okay. Will take a while to get used to it, though, just like any other new screen format.

Not crazy about the bold type and I wish that task bar on the left didn't make the auction titles go to two lines. Makes the page longer, more scrolling, etc.

The watch feature is mildly interesting.

As far as ViewTracker, the value there is in knowing the keywords people used to find my auctions, as well as how they got there.

So I'm glad I spent the money for VT.

Hi OhLucy...it is 'alright'...the more we're using it, the easier it is.
For the most part, we track and monitor in another fashion.
But as has been noted on the powerseller board, this is the beginning of consolidating the site for eBay.
Also VT has been good.
Thank you for your insights.

ewora (and others) - make sure you voice your complaint about not showing STORE format on SOLD items.

Here's what PS support told me:

"If you would like to send specific suggestions about the new My eBay 2.0
pages, you may sent them directly to the team responsible by using this
email address:

[email protected] "

I am afraid if we don't complain loudly enough, we won't see a change!!

I did participate in the "workshop" on e-bay yesterday and mentioned it there. It might have gotten lost in the onslot there so I will also send an email. Thanks for the address. Amy

I am curious, does the "Watcher" function work? I would love to know how many watchers I have compared to bids.

Yes the watch does appear to work very well as I lost some watchers last night but picked up some others today. At first I was confused as to why the numbers dropped but I think someone decided not to try to bid.

Hi all,

Thepriest - sorry I didn't catch your greeting yesterday!

Now that I've used the new page for a while I like it. Easier to bring up what I want to see.

Lucy

Now I am getting the hang of it and think I will like it.
I will take the day tomorrow to play with it.
I guess I will have to like it as we are stuck with it like it or not?
