Unless eBay shuts him/her down now, they have more days to screw the sellers thanks to the 10 day rule to get your fees back. This bidder could do a heck of a lot more damage than he or she already has.

At -1 one now. Oh, brother what a nut job.

Has anyone notified the sellers of auctions that aren't closed yet? Are we allowed to?

Where did you get ten days? 20 days! of maddening frustration.....Who gives a crap about e bay non intervention thing. Tell the sellers if your inclined to.. this is exactly WHY e bay says don't get involved,,,MORE MONEY for THEM!

Just say, look at your bidders feedback. Let THEM decide for themself.

Jack - Forgot about the initial 7 days. I did email some of the sellers. However, this guy is now using the BIN feature so they're sunk anyway. He up to -3 and I cannot believe that eBay is allowing this to continue. They shut down a seller's auction in a heart beat over stupid crap like non-existant VeRO violations and other nonsense, but allow this to continue. You may be right about lawsuit time. I wonder how many people have alerted eBay? Probably a whole bunch of 'em. This is what you get for your money - BURNED.

One of the sellers noted a disconnected phone in the feedback. I wonder why he/she has not been reported for invalid contact info? That's a quick kick off, isn't it?

He has now be NARU'd, about time. He caused a lot of problems in his short run on eBay, probably thinks it a big joke. I feel so sorry for the sellers involved.

Surely e bay IS aware of this short spree and is in the process of notifying the sellers that ALL of there FEES will be refunded...That IS the RIGHT thing to do? Right?

Hmmmmmm,,,,,an Insurance policy just ,,,Popped up in my head....$1.00 a year....from Millions of sellers...Guaranteed 100% refunds for situations like this....

Hey Mr. Insurance Agent!!!! jump on this OP.

It's about time!! A -3 feedback total won't get him dumped. Someone either turned him in for invalid contact info, which usually takes 2 days, or Ebay was reading this thread and trusted the expertise of the posters to intervene. I just hope they read the post by Jack about the insurance against these deadbeats. Great idea Jack, but I don't see an insurance company offering this protection. I can however, see Ebay offering it and collecting the fees for themselves. I bet they never thought of this before. Deadbeat Insurance. Kinda has a ring to it

I would HATE to SEE e bay being the Insurance CO. they would just blanket deny claims as THEY are the COMPANY that would pay out....... A Nuetral insurance broker mandatory. AND State Regulated! A State BOND put in place! there we go!!!!!

We all know about their Square Trade Division...

.Of course not....all it took was one powerseller who's auction was hit and who had the right phone number to Ebay and the bidder is NARU while you're on the phone, within a minute or 2. I've done it many times when these bidders have hit me. I don't think that the discussion of it here made a whit of difference. It was all just for our own interest and concern.

now that he's NARU'd, what do us sellers do about the fees we lost. AND.... one of my items was featured at a cost of $19.95! do I ask for that back from EBAY?

You can ask for it back, but I bet I can tell you who's going to wind up with the $19.95 in their pocket (or purse).

This is a second party listing Company.

Jack...I absolutely agree. I can see where Ebay may have a rightful claim to the basic insertion fee, and then again maybe not if they didn't act on the first complaint, but the extras such as featured, gallery, highlight, BIN, etc. should be fully refunded 100%. I'm not an attorney, but Bill Lockyear, the state AG, sure as hell has a law degree and an oath to uphold and I think it's high time he hops into his taxpayer supplied limo and goes to San Jose and has a little chat with Meg. It's a good thing Ebay doesn't have HQ in New York. Elliot Spitzer would have balanced the state budget long ago on Ebay's back.
