Finally, someone who represents the stable, hardworking, middleclass of America. Someone who understands what "IS" is and isn't. A man with good morals, a clean reputation, respected even by hard line Democrats. We conservatives have tolerated the slick schemes of the left for 8 years and tried to find a shred of decency at the top level. Now we can breathe a deep breath of fresh country air and get back to the important basics of running the country to the glory of God!

I'm wondering how he "represents the stable, hardworking, middleclass of America" when he fails on all three counts. (he is an Amurrican, I guess...)

Born into a very rich family--breezed his way into an Ivy League school (would you turn down a Bush son??)--lost everybody's money but his own in the oil fields of Texas while he was drinking his own profits away---so he sobered up and he borrowed some money and bought himself a baseball team. Decides to run for Govenor cause his brother Jeb was doing it in Florida and it looked cool.

yep---typical middleclass

The first things you will notice, are how many former associates of GB post here on the RT.

Apparently these asscociates were with GB most of his life and were always present and personally witnessed all actions and incidents these (associates) claim.

Therefore, they must have the hard facts. I wonder how many of these (associates) live in glass houses.

There are a few facts that cannot be denied though:

-Bush is a millionaire, they are not.
-Bush was a Governor for two terms, they were not...for one.
-Bush is President, they are not and did not have what it takes.
-No matter how much whining may occur, Bush is President and will be for at least four years.
-Bush leads the country and has world influence.
-They (associates) post and "copy and paste" on forums.

It's very lucky for Texas that dumbya did not serve as governor for two terms. As it is his dopey administration has put the state into a tailspin that they may never be able to pull out of:

"With the state's budget squeeze getting tighter each week, a growing number of Texas lawmakers are speaking openly for the first time in a decade about raising taxes, while others want to tap into a state fund that is set aside for the most dire of fiscal times. Along with their unexpected proposals for finding more money, some Democrats are also dishing out blame for why the state needs new money -- and pointing at President Bush and the tax cuts he backed as governor in 1997 and 1999. "I told you so," said Sen. Mario Gallegos, D-Galena Park,a frequent critic of the tax cuts, which will total $2.6 billion over the next two years. Without that money, the state will still be able to spend $108 billion during the 2002-2003 budget cycle, which begins Sept. 1, to maintain current services. But it will likely have less than $1 billion for costly new programs such as health insurance for teachers, a Medicaid expansion or state worker pay raises...."

Bush did not make his millions
Bush was not governor for 2 terms
Bush had what it took alright, a brother and some crooked judges to help him steal the election.
He might decide he'd rather do something else and leave before the four years are up and he gets voted out.
I haven't seen him "lead" anything yet, and his world influence is a joke. We're the laughingstock of the world.

birdlady54:
I have very bad news for you; in RT, if you are conservitive, Christian, anti-abortion, anti glad, pro bible, pro life, or pro Bush you will be slammed. That said, I agree with most of what you stated, with the execption of "respect of hard-line demacrats". They do not respect him. Fear him, most likely, but respect him, never.

I have taken the liberty of correcting your spelling, as it should read:

-No matter how much whining may occur, Bush is President and will be for at MOST four years.

"to the Glory of God?"

"a breath of fresh country air?"

Sweet Jumpin Jeezus.....get a grip.

There a whole lot more people in the cities and who do not believe in god [of any stripe] that also like Bush.

To spout that kinda crap just makes his job harder and gives the critics more ammo. Keep yer religion outta the politics of it and off the boards.

Here is some cream for your neck of red.

Dr. Trooth
