Surprisingly, Ebay appears to be taking this auction seriously. There have been several "administrative cancellation" of bids, which usually always means the bidder has been NARU'd and had all their bids cancelled by Ebay.

Here is another auction from the "holy grilled cheese sandwich" seller!

What I would like to know is how did she get the font on "PayPal Only" so big.

Anyone know how to do it & can let me know. I use h1 for large print, but it's not even close to that.

What I want to know is who would be dumb enough to bid on one of her auctions with her confrontational, "no exceptions" TOS.

I wonder what criteria the seller is using to pre-approve a bid of 99,999,999.99??? Do you think Bill Gates or his buddy Warren have use for a 10 year old grilled cheese sandwich? Maybe they found religion?

I think this auction is getting coverage all over the country. I heard about it on the Bob & Tom Radio Show this morning here in Maine - although I had already seen it here on the Vendio board. But I can't believe anyone is taking it too seriously. Do you actually think this seller thinks she's going to make $99,999,999.99 on it?

It's back down to $3,000,000 and change. Looks like Ebay is rolling the heads of the mega million dollar bidders.

What's been making me crack up is reading all of the knock-off ads that are popping up in a search for "grilled cheese."

The Wesley Snipes grilled cheese sandwich ...the Popechop ... Gumby Wearing Cheese Virgin Mary Mask ...

Kiara, thanks for posting this.

Two of my editors got fired two weeks ago - I've had pounding headaches ever since.

Laughing at these actually relieves the tension headaches.

Better than the Excedrin Migraine tabs I keep popping.

It's now down to a mear $69,000.00.

Meg, must be worried this will put them in a New Tax Bracket!

I was thinking of bidding but if it's not actually worth $100,000,000.00 why bother?

I think it's meant to be subliminal advertising by some coalition of american greasy spoon diners, as 5 of us from Vendio just had grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch.

Blasphemy? Maybe... but it was goooood
