And when I was a kid, I thought Bill Bixby in The Courtship of Eddie's Father was kind of cute too... anyone remember that show?

I still can't believe that even59 called the Beatles <gasp!> "plug ugly".

I wasn't around to have a crush on any of them then, but John was a cutie - especially in the early 60's.

Whatever blows your hair back.
I mean, what do I know, I had a thing for Jack Lalane!

Even59, did you ever notice how rude Jack LaLane was to Elaine? He treated her like SHE was the chair. They were on t.v. about five years ago talking about how wonderful HE still looked, and he was treating Elaine like something that was stuck to the bottom of his shoe! It was awful. I wanted to smack that little man upside his little old head!

Muriel,
I was too young to notice the emotional dynamics of Jack and Elaine...mostly I liked the dogs and Gawd help me...I had a thing for Jack...again I as Kindergarten aged

A side note
I always wished I was as loverly as Morticia Adams...she really was quite the Petite Fleur. I had the hair, not as long of course, but you can't have the delicate bone structure unless you luck out.

I remember the Courtship of Eddie's Father and the Incredible Hulk. I also remember him in the Magician. He was cute.

I guess I am really really wierd because I was always attracted to real people, not characters on a TV show. Sort of reality disabled....

Jack Lalane thinks his #$%* dont stink. He lives across the bay and lets everyone know thats where he lives. As if anyone here gives a red hot $#@%.

Karen Valentine--Room 222, if you're old enough to remember that show, musta lasted only one or two seasons at most.

Also Marlo Thomas & Susan Dey.

i had a crush on the usual mid 70s teen hotties (Leif Garrett, Shaun Cassidy, Parker Stevenson, John Travolta all graced my room) but it pains me to admit I also had a thing for:

--Phil Donahue. He was always on when I came home from junior high, and there was just something so nice and sexy about him (father figure? Hmm).

--Jack from Three's Company (strangely enough, years later he purchased a home from a friend of mine, but by that time the thrill was gone)

--the kid who was in the TV show with the magic talking flute (Jimmy?) I think it was Liddsville, but I could be thinking of one of the other Sid & Marty Kroft shows.

Michael Landon(Bonanza)...William Shatner(Star Trek, it used to scare me then)......oh and what's his name, played Milo on Planet of the Apes (british)...even Darren McGavin(Night Stalker)...and Richardo Maultabaun...Roger Daultry...would you believe Ernest Bourgnine...and all this while my friends were swooning over Donny Osmond. I should have known then I would need therapy later in life.

And now I like skinny villian character actors with muscular fore arms, sad eyes, and large noses (always large noses) I even let go of the Roger Daultry crush for Pete Townshend for a while back in the 80s.

But I'm better now, though I love a face with character. Harrison Ford yum.
