You are forgetting all the members who have email turned on. You can't keep everyone from speaking up.

Moderations are no longer discussed in threads.

Of course they aren't. Can't sweep them under the rug as easily when they are hangin' out there like sheets swaying in the breeze...

Question:

If we see no evil, does that mean there is no evil?

The name is going to have to be changed into the Stepford Boards.

"It's wonderful here" "I feel fine" "I love it here" "Worries? What Worries"

That's it for me.
No one with any wit or intelligence will stay anyway.

Hello Again,

You are all welcome here and we wish you would stay. The basics of the CG's are intact. The same rules apply as far as what is acceptable in posting (common sense and basic etiquette) except moderations. They are handled differently.

Moderations are handled by email and the Moderator's Corner is no longer part of AW.

The Round Table will not turn into a Moderator's Corner.

You are oh so correct, Antiquary.

Have you seen the eBay Outlook lately? Most of the helpful regulars have left the building. There is hardly anything left but a bunch of newbies with questions that are going unanswered.

It isn't fun anymore.

Hepburn,

Discussions of moderations do not take place in the threads anymore. They take place in email.

Just popping in, thanks to toyranch who gave a heads-up on AW's "improvements". AW's conduct has turned out to be more entertaining, in an Orwellian sort of way, than Paypal's ever was.

I remember a performance art "thing" a few years back in Boston. The set was decorated with bloody goat carcasses, and the "star" flew onstage like Peter Pan, except that he was completely nude and had live, and quite exploding, fireworks duct-taped to his body. Audience members closet to the stage got their eyebrows singed. When compared with AW's actions of late, that "performance" seems positively clinical in its logic.

Anyway, am posting here to request I be formally UNregistered so that, when AW tallies up its membership, my bean won't get counted as one of this site's supporters.

Hi everyone,

The purpose of this thread was to serve as a notification of our decision to remove the moderator's corner, and I think it has served that purpose. To recap:

Information regarding a specific moderation call or suspension is available to the affected User by contacting [email protected] There is a link to the Moderator's email in the lefthand navigation bar as well.

If you feel that a moderation policy issue needs to be discussed, please email [email protected] and if we agree, we'll open a thread in the Round Table.

Thank you,

Diana
