I'm with you, Irene. There was no justification to say that about you. I only wanted to let you know that I doubt that anyone save stusi would need to search as you suggest to know the truth of what you said.

i did not see your posts in the Nazi thread in an anti-semitic regard. as such i have no recollection of any PROBLEM with you prior to the posts i mentioned. the answer to your second point is yes. i believe that networker posted in my mod's thread as well and may have started one there also. i do however have a more distinct recollection of your comments in the threads in question. instead of asking anyone else if they remember why don't you state for the record whether or not you remember!

you have made questionable comments on this board but the real problem i had was on the mod's board. you are now playing a game of semantics and denial. i am still waiting for YOUR public denial of remembrance. it is late here and i have no problem continuing this tomorrow, but i will say this now. if my otherwise excellent memory is proven to be totally in error i will not hesitate to make an apology. will you do the same? perhaps the mods can somehow settle this.

i do not owe you an apology because you made comments questioning my disapproval of another's anti-semitism. to me and many others that is a clever way to say something without actually saying it. will YOU apologize if someone comes up with the proof?

I am a firm (not defined as devout, since I am also a sinner) believer in Christian principals. I attend church regularly, make Wednesday Bible study, and even tithe, cause my church runs a school.
This thread has gone so many ways, I'm confused. I thought Terry (kraftdinner), asked a sincere question. Yet, somehow, this thread has become anti-semitic?

It's amazing that such sensitivity exists, when there is a discussion along religious lines. Yet, these same religious people, have no compassion in their hearts for a 12-year-old boy sent to prison FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.
Where are the compassionate Christians?

one more time for the benefit of krs, antiquary et al---if you think i have nothing better to do than randomly select a poster to make fabricated and unfounded statements about then that's your problem. i said that the person in question had made some questionable comments in the RT in general but specific ones in the MC that i had(have) a serious problem with. i stand behind my statement and once again will repeat my offer to apologize if proven wrong. the poster in question has not yet addressed my specific comment and has not yet offered an apology if she is proven wrong. i did not know that the site search for the MC was inactivated until after the poster suggested a search be done. perhaps,krs, it is the other person who is hiding behind this convenient unavailability. this thread has gotten substantially off topic.

Enough already. There have been accusations and insults flying all over the place, most of which violate the CGs in one way or another.
I will agree that this thread has gone far beyond what the originator probably intended and I am locking it before it degenerates further.
If anyone would like to continue the original discussion and can do so without it turning into a slanging match, you are welcome to start a new thread.
