My husband just finished fixing me the most luscious breakfast.
Waffles with strawberries and Whipped Cream
Scrambled Eggs.
Hashbrowns
Ham & Bacon
Orange Juice
I'm sure there was milk also but I don't care for milk so I didn't have any.
And I was raised on a dairy farm --- go figure that one out---
It was absolutely wonderful. I can almost hear the calories, not to mention cholesterol, oh well it was soooo gooooood

He is a wonderful husband but he thinks these boards are --- a strange way to spend my time. He just doesn't understand.

Peking Duck, Lobster Francaise, or Filet Mignon with my own homemade steak sauce and sauteed onions. All with a good wine, of course.

Prime rib (an end cut), with a baked potato, asparagus, and Yorkshire pudding.

With all the extras, fresh ground horseradish for the prime rib, sour cream, butter for the bake potato, and cheese sauce for the asparagus.

20oz T-bone steak well done and lightly covered in A-1 sauce, with a whole baked potatoe and string beans and 2 biscuits baked with butter.
To wash it down an ice cold glass of milk.

Man, oh man! I am drooling now.
Think I'm going to have to make it an early dinner today.

(Edited to add the milk. GOT to have the milk!)

I'll keep my milk. You bring your own drink and we can add the cheese cake in for desert!

Yummers!

My favorite foods are just about any of my (Italian) grandmother's soups - Cabbage Soup, Chicken Soup, Spinach Soup, Lentil Soup, and my FAVORITE dish she makes is artichokes.

My favorite "dessert" would be a bowl of Edy's Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream!

Ok, Cripes! A typo. Dessert, not desert.

For those of us that don't know - "This word goes back to the Latin word deservire, "to devote oneself to the service of," which in Vulgar Latin came to mean "to merit by service." "

No dessert for you!

I love baked potato, with or without sour cream. But if we are talking about absolute favourite foods, then it has to be without doubt ......... CHOCOLATE.

I can eat it at anytime, on just about anything.... okay not vegies or salad, but give me chocolate and I am a very happy person. Without it I could go a bit stir crazy.

Pasta (Yum)

Seafood (Double Yum)

Pork & Sauerkraut w/Mashed Potatoes (Ecstasy)

I'd like to tell you that I just had one of the above favorites for dinner, but....

My Sunday evening "feast" consisted of a grilled cheese on wheat.

Linda K, can I share your meal, I will leave out the prime rib and is the asparagus fresh, it must be fresh cooked although I do eat the bottled variety. LOL

nettak - You sure can...we'll just order two plates and enjoy. There's always way too much to eat and I usually, with the exception of the lobster, end up taking 1/2 of it home anyway. And we'll order the asparagus just the way you like it. We might even have room for dessert that way....something chocolate of your choice. Yum

I'm lucky to have a girl friend from Switzerland who is the best cook in the world. Her home made Spatzli is the best, great with red chili !! We live in New Mexico, so this is kind of a Swiss/ Southwest dish, LOL. Franzi's home made pizza is to die for. Her Bolognese sauce, home baked pretzels, I could go on and on.....

edited for spelling.

hardoutfit - thanks so much for the compliments, but your tacos and specially your thai food is not from bad parents either!! Remember, one person who spent a lot of time in thailand said after a dinner cooked by you, that your thai food was the best he ever eat outside of thailand!!!

1. Beef Wellington
2. Crab, prepared most any way
3. Artichokes, steamed with lemon butter

For you fresh asparagus lovers. We've been having it almost everyday for the last couple of weeks and giving quite a bit away to friends and neighbors. If you only lived nearby.....
