snowy,
I would send you some but it loses most of the quality if it isn't steamed a few hours after cutting. Wonderful raw too.
But on the whole probably not worth the move to this area.

I just got unpacked from the last move, lol. But, I do love fresh asparagus. Now, I can almost taste it....

DANG IT ALL TO HECK!! I was lurking in this thread, and I got so hungry I tore into my bag of Reeces miniature Easter candy... The bag ripped open and I had little baby peanut butter cups all over the place!!! (One even went down inside my printer)
Not to worry, they were all wrapped and are still quite edible... I'm even considering the one I stepped on...

Oh well as long as they are still edible.
My 17 year old daughter and I are hooked on these boards. We get so excitied when we see someone has posted to ourthread.
Asparagus I'm not even sure I have ever tasted it but I seem to remember as a child that I didn't like it. We can only get it around here in the summer and then only along ditch banks and stuff.
My husband love seafood, but I've never cooked it, only occassionally when we go out to eat.
peeps!!!!!1
My little girl is going crazy cause she likes to eat the little Easter candy PEEPS
I don't care for PEEPS either
but anything chocolate is great. MMMMMM
I will always smile when I think of someone dropping easter candy in the printer

I also love fresh, not bottled, asparagus, which I steam, then wrap the stalks in groups of threes in thinly sliced smoked ham and cover with hollandaise sauce, then broil for 10 minutes. The sauce must be prepared from scratch, not out of a package
My favorite of all favorites has to be smoked, barbecued ribs or rib tips. For dessert, homemade Red Velvet Cake, or Key Lime Pie.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but thought I'd tell you my favourite food.
Beef Rendang {Malaysian}
Nasi Goreng {Rice dish}
Chocolate Mud Cake with cream and strawberries and a nice glass of Champagne to top it all off.
I honestly love any type of food, any country, but the favourites would have to be asian. I'm not a true Aussie - I don't like meat pies!!!! No disrespect to my country.

WHAT is the purpose of Limburger anyway??? I wonder how they first discovered it was edible in the first place.
And how did they figure out to crack oysters open? They sure are ugly! (And slimy!)
