I believe I did say something about "the reason I'm not posting here" or some such thing. I didn't say I was leaving AW, though in fact I have been posting here infrequently. I also pointed out at that time, that although I was disappointed in AW's new "attitude," my main complaint was with the pomposity of posters who claimed a victory by lobbying AW to disallow discussion of eBay auctions.
It started off when I posted a link to a Hendrix stratocaster guitar on eBay that had received bids of nearly $200,000. AW WOMDed the thread, but later recanted and instituted a new policy which would allow discussion of (and links to) newsworthy auctions. I thought AW made a good call, and were big enough to re-examine their own policies. But the new AW policy resulted in several posters throwing a hissy fit, and one poster even changing his user ID in a sort of protest. I was very dismayed by the antics of posters who claimed that discussion of a newsworthy auction poses some sort of security threat.
I do have complaints about AW, but I won't go into that. I get the feeling that any kind of complaint about the management will no longer be tolerated. 'Nuff said.

Stockticker, I get the feeling you're asking if I posted under another ID. If so, then the answer is no. I may have made a post there six or seven months ago. I don't frequent there, I don't have a link to it and I wouldn't even know where to find it.
Lotsafuzz, I find many of the people who post in various chat rooms to be sensitive and intelligent... many, but not all.
Speaking of co-ops, what ever happened to Jamie, Dman & Co.?

They have their own site, and it's really showing a lot of promise. Most everyone goes there, twinsoft, (I still think that that would be a great name for toilet paper--we'' have to come up with a jingle, as there's already a berry) I'm surprised that you didn't know.

We stopped posting on AW because of their UNEVEN policy's and for crapping on our co-op movement.
If AW, Ebay, or any other company doesn't want a group of hard core, long suffering, experianced, and eager sellers I'm sure we can create an alternative.
BTW, we're having a pool to see how long it will take for this post to be deleted by AW.
