Take care!

How did I miss this thread? *wake up, terri*

Though I have never seen an angel, I did see something once. I had prayed that I did not feel God's presence, I was even doubting His existance. I prayed to feel/know His presence, never even remotely thinking of a "vision". Then one morning a short time later I awoke and was standing by my dresser. It was very dark. I saw a brilliant blue-white light that was like nothing I have ever seen before. It was dense and radiant and BRIGHT. Then it just vanished silently. No message, no angel, nothing else.

I could also make a list of prayers that were specifically awnsered...all in a way that I never ever dreamed they would be. This pattern became even more evident when I began keeping a journal because I could see what I prayed way back and then how it came to be in an amazing but unmistakable way.

This is why I have unfailing faith, because I see unfailing evidence.

~Tonight I sing praises.~

Okay, I'm one of the believers and have had a number of experiences over the years. The one that stands out most vividly involves my great grandmother. She died when I was 11 or so and had spent most of my life in a nursing home. I was visiting my father out of state and sleeping in my step-sisters room. In the middle of the night I woke up to see my great grandmother sitting on the end of my bed, just looking at me. I smiled at her and went back to sleep. In the morning my mother called to let my sister and me know that she had died during the night. I think she just stopped by to say good-bye.
