Terri,
Do you honestly believe that Clinton was the first and only President (Democrat OR Republican) to indulge in illicit adulterous sex? Do you think GW Bush has not engaged in this behavior (albeit maybe not in office)?

Ronald Reagan was probably the only President that didn't fool around, and that was because Nancy would have cut off his...oh nevermind.

"It was also observed that when Bush had all Clinton's porn removed from Airforce One, that was NEVER even mentioned here. I took note of that"

That was a lie, a republican lie. There never was any porn aboard Air Force One, the only claimed porn comes from copying machines in the White House office building, and that could very well have been put there by republican workers.

The office in charge of accounting such things found NO evidence that any of the sleazy republican claims were true.

They lied about the entire thing.

No? Then WHO did type this: "and yet harp on someone's vocabulary?"

I hope not Katy. If it were to come out and be validated as the truth, then I would completely change my point of view on George Bush...and so would most of his other conservative supporters.

I like Billy Graham, Jessie Jackson makes me vomit.

The woman, Bush's former girlfriend, or bar acquiantance, refuses to testify publically about the episode now, though she did for a while.

Someone (Guess Who) paid her off?

Well.. I guess all republicans are just liars, KRS. Judge what you will.

When someone always assumes something immoral about another, it says a lot about self.

I could care LESS about party btw. I only care about decency and honor and representing what's right. I will vote either way if the canidate holds Godly values, fights for them, represents them, lives by them.

Sorry, I have to sweep. Some one walked around in crunchy rubber boots.

It's righteous anger KRS....either that or the paradox.

This thread has strayed from the Positive Stuff requested. While Marllyn Manson fans may consider demonic posssession a positive, I do not.

Now how about a few more Positives

There are many polar bears and seals Who've never seen an oil rig.

Our schools need to prepare our future voters for more multiple choice tests.

Who wouldn't want more arsenic in their drinking water?

Why are our schools wasting so much time on readin, rightun, and rithmetic when they could be teaching theology?

Think how much businesses will save by being relieved of responsibility for workplace ergonomics, more peons are so much cheaper.

Why shouldn't we build non-working ABMs in defiance of long held treaty agreements, and almost unanimous international opposition? Think of how many defence contractors this boondoggle will make work for.

How about those neat in and out features of the tax cut. That awful estate tax is scheduled to end in 9 years and be restored in ten. Now all the really rich people can schedule their deaths well ahead of time to catch the window of opportunity.

Can't wait to get back to creating new records for federal budget deficits. Saint Ronald showed how much fun borrow and spend can be.

There's been too much negativity here, when there are just so many more Positive points to be made...

Helen-LOL! did Carter actually say that, I'd believe it, he is so darn honest. Although he sucked as President, I liked him, and still do... I like what he does and has done with the Habitat for Humanity. I really think he does believe in what he does, and its not some 'show', ya know?

When Ronald Reagan took office and systematically destroyed the lives of millions of familes, I just could not believe how arrogant that he was about it. And the GOP kept their "It's Good For America" crap pumping out day and night to keep people in check. I thought that he was the Devil incarnate.

When George Bush, Sr. was president and lied to Americans about why we had to go send our kids to fight and die for oil, I was ashamed to be an American. And when those US Seals died in combat on that island off of Kuaiti City where Bush had sent them to protect the only thing on the island - Bush Oil, I felt that he was personally responsible for murdering each of those brave men. And the Abuse of Power was equaled only by Ronald Reagan.

When the Clinton Impeachment Hearings were well underway and the polls showed how strongly that they dissapproved of the Republican Witch Hunt for Clinton, Henry Hyde and Terent Lott were interviewed on many an occasion stating that "the voters can't remember anything six months later". I felt sure that this was not true of the American people.

Sure enough, Al Gore got more votes - even in Florida than Dubya did. And once again, the arrogant Republicans pressured Al Gore into conceding, rather than percipitate another civil war. I was was shocked at the outright abuse to the US Constitution.

Now we are hearing such things as "I like the way he wants schools to be accountable". He doesn't want public schools to be accountable, he wants them gotten rid off! Oh, sure! So long as they teach straight from the Holy Bible, public education would be OK to fund. But not this "Humanistic" public school system that "denys God" somehow (although this accusation is touted widely by Christian critics, they can never point to one thing that isn't destroyed by facts).

Then, with nothing nice left to say about Dybya, we get the "WE'RE MORE MORAL" baloney. Just because I approve of the Republican Senator who had a three-way with his wive and a prostitute does not make ME immoral! I have yet to hear what makes Democrats "immoral" anymore than Republicans are or conversely, how Republicans are more moral than Democrats are.

Billy Graham is evil. Evil incarnate. Isn't he related to Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker? Ooops, got the the latter confused with the former.

I'll take Jesse Jackson over any of those fools, any day. Mind you, Al Sharpton is not on my list of religious stalwarts

I don't imagine it makes much difference to me who is President. I will shamefully admit I enjoy watching some of the post from the prophets of doom. Anyone that is so far to the political right or left that they are required to hang on to reality by their fingernails entertains me.

I loved downtown Seattle in the 70s, at the intersection of 4th and Pike where I worked there was a prophet of doom on 2 of the corners and an self appointed evangelist on the 3rd. The 4th corner seemed to be reserve for listening to the rants of the characters.

It's the little things in life I love.

Yes, that was big of Gore to step down and intercede in stopping a civil war. In my area they were lined around the block at the sporting good stores stocking up on ammo. I was undecided on joining the Republican Rebels, or the Democratic Demons, they didn't seem to have much of a gathering at the Pedestrian Panther headquarters. The Democratic Demons had the best looking uniforms, but the Republican Rebels headquarters was a closer drive.

Thank God Gore stopped that civil war before I had to decide which side I was on.

If Gore had conceeded just a few hours earlier I'd have thought much more of him. We had put sandbags on the upstairs balcony (better vantage point for sniping.) While the moving of the sandbags is no small task it was minor compared to listening to my wife complain about all the sand we got in the carpet. My wife cleaned on that for a long time while I dug up the land mines in the back yard.

If you have a problem with stray dogs in your neighborhood you can just throw some scraps in your back yard. I'm not suggesting this mind you, but that is how one of the warriors on our street cleared his backyard.

Cats don't seem to be able to set off the mines (not enough weight) so if you're a cat lover but hate dogs all is cool.
