It is so sad that when someone cannot answer except in a light that will make thier "hero" look bad they resort to commenting on others intelligence. So, I will one more time, Borillar: What are your comments regarding the Clinton exectutive orders, the p.d.d.'s, and the air strikes the day of his impeachment, or do you not have any logical answer to these questions/ststements?

No party has a monopoly on failure to read (or think) before acting. Republicans did seem to manage better than some other politican parties when it came to reading instructions before voting.

You know, there is a poster, who has every right and all to post what he firmly believes in
But when it finally comes to
Stupid Republicans: always forgetting how to read first before opening up their yap!
I admitted I am a Republican and voted for Bush, and you can say you don't like him, what he does, or you don't like Republicans in general, but to call them all stupid and then, before tying them all in with McVeigh and some should be excecuted right along with him? just seemed to be going too extreme and far, IMHO.

Hell, I think both Bush AND Gore are both liars - they're politicians for cryinoutloud! What makes me sick is when one person is a staunt political party, they will defend to the end whatever they're party is doing, regardless of if it's wrong. That's so ridiculous - NEITHER party is right all the time and BOTH parties have crooks!! Then there's a person who claims he is neither republican NOR democrat, but yet it's funny that all he ever knocks is the republicans. jeeesh ....... I think all politicians stink and I'm not even voting next time around.

bobbi355-your right in the most part. Yes both parties, and even third parties are and can be liars.
But we don't want a dictatorship here.
The Romans started a 'Senate' for the people, while there was a Caeser. And the Senate then, long ago, wanted a country for the people, and long in fighting with the dictatorship or monarchy there and so long ago.
We all want a free country 'for the people, by the people' so we elect 2 from each state to represent us, and that is just the U.S. Senators, then there are the congressmen, and they are there to represent the people. Since we each cannot represent the country for ourselves, we vote on everything.
What I was talking about was, was on page 4 I beleive, where a poster said something, and not an exact quote -where each and every Republican who took place in that witch hunt (Clintons) and the Republicans in Florida and the Supreme court should be executed with McVeigh so their seed should not spread-or something just like that. Now that is pretty harsh.
I do not defend all Republicans, and there are a lot of Democrats that are good politicians. I don't vote party either, if it comes down to: I believe this Democrat would be better than that Republican, I will vote that way. But I do consider myself a Republican.

He did (after the media made a big deal out of it) agree that testing and making sure the meat that's sold to schools for our kids to eat is safe for human consumption is a good idea.
>Assuming that the folks holding the IOU's are paid (and I'd bet they expect to be),<
I think alot of them would rather collect the intrest on the loans for years and years, at our expence.
