You dispute all the polls that said Perot won the first debate? You don't think that if Perot had not had that little meltdown towards the end that things would have been so different? People were looking for something else, and they got it with Perot.
Perot received 19% of the popular vote, Bush 37.7% and Clinton 43.3%. I would hardly call Clinton's victory a landslide since not even half of the registered voters voted for him. Clinton just barely scraped up 50% in 1996. Bob Dole was a terrible pick for the Republican candidate, I think his age was the main factor there.
I would take Elizabeth Dole or Colin Powell over any of them.

Perot gave the '92 election to Clinton, Wallace gave the '68 election to Nixion, and Nader probably gave the '00 election to Bush.
I doubt you'll ever see a third party candidate have any other role than that of a spoiler. They don't have the machinery behind them. Curtis LeMay (Wallace's running mate) was asked what he'd do if they won the election, he said, "I'd demand a recount."

"If Ross (little man) Perot made Clinton look like a fool in the debates, why, pray tell was Slick Willie elected to not one, but two terms of office?"-baduizm
Because many women almost always vote for who they feel is the more attractive candidate. It's not about issues. It's about which candidates mug there gonna have to look at for the next for years. Clinton lost the male vote in both elections, but his overwhelming victory with the women voters brought him to office. Perot's ugly little mug would never allow him to get elected. Everyone knows men are more logical thinking than women. Women vote on emotions, not issues.
Of course, we do need that balance to everything, you know. At least thats what my girl tells me.

If women elected Clinton, we must be smarter than men.

No. Apparently, Bush got elected because so many of the registered democrats can't read a ballot. I mean, Bush and Gore do both have 4 letters in their names. It's understandable. Poor democrats.

Not only is that ridiculous, it is insulting.

Actually, I'm surprised that term of endearment "my old lady" wasn't used.

I was going to go over to my freinds barn to
get some horse droppings for my garden but you saved me the trip jlpiece, because that above statement is a bigger load of horse droppings that I could have fit in my little truck. I think I'll just print it out and sprinkle it directly on the roses because it sure does stink.
