Krex.com

seemingly a great site for computer parts. I ordered several things from them. One Item however was stolen or lost while in the care of UPS. I filed correctly. I reported the problem severla times. It's nearly feb now. I bought a western Digi 20.5 Gig Hard drive for over 100.00 total. Ups Tells me that they have already given the money back to Krex But KREX will not give my Money back. They were paid twice and I recieved Nothing. I am almost positive they over insured the item so it should be no sweat off their brow to refund my money, but they keep playing dumb, acting ike it's the first time I called every time I call. So I sit waiting. since October, for a hard drive that will never come, or my money back. Anyone have any suggestions?

It sucks to get ripped off.. you might file a complaint with these people.. not sure how far they investigate things but at least something will be on file if nothing else

HAVE UPS FAX YOU COPY OF LETTER STATING THEY PAID THE FUNDS. GET YOUR RECEIPTS. FILE WITH BBB. ALSO GO TO YOUR LOCAL TV ANCHOR WHO HELPS RECOVER PEOPLES MONEY. HERE ITS AIKENS ARMY. TELL THEM YOUR STORY, THEY WILL CONTACT CO WITH YOUR PROOF OF PAYMENT AND UPS REFUND AND COMPANY WILL PROBABLY PAY TO AVOID NEGATIVE PRESS. ALSO TAKE THE INFO TO YOUR POST OFFICE. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS UPS IT IS STILL MAIL FRAUD. FILE THE FORMS AND THE POST OFFICE WILL GO AFTER THE COMPANY. IT IS FREE TO YOU AND THE GOVERMENT CAN USUALLY GET A REACTION. I HAVE REC 2 REFUNDS THAT WAY.

I have a question.

Why did UPS send the money to Krex. Didn't you file the claim? I think your beef is with UPS not Krex.

Only COD items insurance goes back to the sender. If you paid in advance and insured your order you should have received the check from UPS.

I have had claims in the past and I filed the claim and I was paid, not the seller.

ShameOnThem, you should also go to ResellerRatings.com and submit an evaluation. I will not purchase computer parts from on internet seller without first visiting this site and checking to see what experience other buyers have had. In fact, if a stores rating is less than 5.0 I am very suspicious - less than 4, you won't see me in the store.

I've been dealing with Krex for twelve years. They belong to the BBB. Their customer service is far from perfect because they have been understaffed for at least a year. However, they have a 5.7 rating at resellerratings.com, which isn't too shabby compared to many of their competitors. Mr. Krex admitted to me that he had to choose between offering low prices and giving first rate customer service, and chose the former. I chose the latter, and price-sensitive or ignorant customers helped drive my computer hardware company into bankruptcy.
