I purchased CD's on ebay paid via paypal on 9-23-01. Still have not received items. I contacted the seller to see if shipment had been made, and she was extremely rude. States the post office is extremely slow at this time. Is that true? Are others finding shipment is takeing longer? Just wondered. Thanks

Depends on how your seller shipped the items. I have noticed in shipping my customers via USPS priority mail that shipments to the east are taking 5-6 days for delivery while shipments to the west are taking the usual 2-3 days. I am in Texas so I'm basing the above on east and west of me. However, I hesitate to say this since I don't know how you asked (tone of email) your question to the seller, customer service should be top priority online as well as off and a rude seller is not good for their business. Then again she may be being asked shipping delay questions alot lately. IMHO

Thanks for your reply, it gave me a chance to look at it from her point of view. She prob. is getting a lot of shipping questions now. I believe she does a large volume. She really was rude in her reply to my e-mail asking if items had been shipped yet. I probably will not due business with her again, because of her rudness alone. Thanks again!

Remember that sellers do have up to 30 days to deliver the items, and then it becomes a very important issue.
When that happens, here is our page on helping you with the possible fraud:

i am in the south also, shipping usps to the east especially to nyc,can be rerouted so it could take many moons.
shipping to the west seems to be normal.
UPS claims it is business as usual for them, whether east or west.
now with the anthrax scare, who knows what is going to happen next-spray everything coming from florida????????
worse no one will dare to order anything which comes thru the mail??

Hi ksjoenne,
You can (as a precaution) file a Buyer Complaint against the seller if you do not think this is going to be resolved. Please keep in mind that PayPal does not guarantee recovery if you are defrauded.
