Hi guys, just received the following email from ebay. Don't know why I received it as I don't list through ebay. I list only through Vendio. Unless they are referring to Vendios SYI form. If so is this going to create a problem when ebay phases out the old form? Are you guys prepared for this?. If you are using the old form, perhaps you should start phasing in now. Steve
EBAY EMAIL FOLLOWING
This is a reminder that we will be retiring the old "Sell Your Item" (SYI) form in early May. This is the form you see when you click on the "Sell" tab at the top of the eBay home page or when you use "relist "or "sell similar" to list an item.

Our records indicate that you are still using the old form.

We urge you to start using the new form right away. In early May the version you're using will no longer be available.

To begin using the new form, just click on "Start selling with the new version of the Sell Your Item form" at the beginning of the selling process.

The new version makes it faster and easier to list your items. It also has great new features such as more fonts and colors, built-in Help, and reusable templates.

For more information, please read our Helpful Links about the new SYI form at http://click3.ebay.com/333708.68070.0.113505

Sincerely,

eBay Product Management Team

We received confirmation from the engineering staff on this notice from eBay and Vendio users will not be effected.

The SYI form is upgraded, not discontinued. The old format will be retired, hence the push to these users to switch to the new format. As they list through Vendio, they've probably not visited eBay SYI lately.

When you list from Vendio you are not using any part of the SYI form, as your listings are submitted directly through the API (eBay's back door program for 3rd party listers.)

Your ability to list from a 3rd party listing service will not be effected by this change.

Regards,
Christopher
