I discovered that I had mislabeled a picture, so I deleted the image in my eBay folder on Vendio, emptied the recycle bin and uploaded the correct image, named the same as the old one so the auction listing wouldn't be messed up. The old image still shows up in my eBay folder on Vendio and on my auction listing. How can a deleted image resurrect itself?
Please provide the name of the image and a description of the differences between the old and new image, so that we can take a look. Have you tried clearing your browser cache? It could be that the image is simply stuck in your browser cache.

Thanks Nathan. I think it's fixed. When I saw the wrong pic, I panicked and wasn't thinking clearly.
On 3 browsers, the pic still shows as the old one on the listing, but viewing the supersized image shows the correct one. On a 4th browser, both are correct.
