I use Customer Manager, and therefore all of my notifications & other customer emails come from a vendio.com email address. Unfortunately, I am getting more & more emails every week from customers asking for updates about their items when they have ALREADY been sent notifications from me through Vendio's Post Sale & through Customer Manager. This is a HUGE waste of time, and I am beginning to fear that only about 10% of my customers actually receive my emails.

Does Vendio attempt to work with the major email providers to get vendio.com email addresses recognized as valid email addresses?

I really like the way Customer Manager keeps track of my customers' history, & has the "Responses" feature, however, I am at my wit's end, and am thinking I'm going to have to give up the program & switch to Gmail, or something, since I am having to send duplicate notification emails directly through eBay in order to increase the chances that buyers are getting their emails. Any thoughts on things that can be done to resolve this issue?

Has anyone found any alternative methods for dealing with this, or particular email providers that are less likely to get filtered out (i.e., if my customer notifications were coming from a Gmail or Hotmail address, would my customers be more likely to get them?).

Thank you for any advice you can lend,
Amanda

Hello Amanda,

Anytime an ISP adds Vendio to their list of blocked addresses, we do strive to correct that error and have the block removed ASAP.

Unfortunately this isn't typically what causes users not to receive their eBay related emails. Typically it will be the user specific rules or security settings that need to be tweaked, something neither Vendio nor the users ISP have control over at this time.

Regards,
Christopher

My WBN's do not seem to get through to AOL or Earthlink. They message that they are kicked back actually appears in my SPAM file. So goggle mail thinks they are spam too.

Google spam filter just begun recently to send to spam most vendio.com addresses. Just go through your spam file, click them as "not spam" and eventually the filter will not block them anymore on your account and generally in all user's accounts.

Anyone who has a gmail account, please do this and encourage your customers to do the same. Eventually the spam algorithm will change itself automatically.
