I was wondering if you are ever going to fix the issue of inventory synchronization. My inventory is ALWAYS out of synchronization and I have number of items showing active when they are closed and vice versa.

Please check SKU: 98234-06vm/000L. This item shows listed when in fact the auction closed on 07/15. I'm wasting time, thinking this item is listed, you are wasting my money as I could be selling this item.

Over the years I developed COMPLETE mistrust in the inventory numbers showing in Vendio.

Whatever you do (or don't do) PLEASE do not suggests for me to update it by hand or refresh anything. This is your job and I'm paying you hundreds of dollars a month across my four Vendio accounts to keep the numbers straight.

Hello Jack,

The reason that this inventory quantity is one too high is because you received an ambiguous launch on July 6th. Please check your listings errors regularly by going to "Sales Manager" --> "Listings" --> "Errors".

We believe that the errors indicated in your account (either "Verification of launch not received", or "Ambiguous launch" ) are related to some latency through the eBay API. Please check this URL for a graph that shows possible API latency:

http://www.vendio.com/ebay_api_stats.html

The error indicates that the listing may have been launched successfully, but we did not receive the notification back from eBay that would confirm the launch.

We would recommend checking your eBay account to confirm if the listings did or did not launch. If they did launch, you may delete the pending items and import the listings using "Import" or "Track" in Sales Manager. If they did not launch, you may resubmit the listings.

Since it is not possible for us to know whether or not the listing launched, the inventory quantity is adjusted as if it did launch, to prevent duplicate listings.

Regards,
Nathan

Nathan,
Thanks for the explanation. Actually I have the same situation across all my accounts. Please check my FragranceCorner account where all Quantity:2 are incorrect.

Following your explanation of "Ambiguous launch", why Vendio is not updating inventory based on eBay actual state. Any change of auction status (early end of the auction, removal of auction by eBay, etc) should trigger the inventory adjustment.

Also, this "Ambiguous launch" was over two weeks ago and auction was for a standard 7-day period. Even without any synchronization, Vendio should know the action is long over.

I hope I'm not the last remaining higher volume seller around here and I wonder how other sellers with multiple quantities cope with this no-synchronization situation.

Could you please ask your engineers to run a batch synchronization for the following Vendio accounts:

jackmikol
jackmikoldeals
jackmikol1
FragranceCorner

Thanks,
Jack
