I'm running Windows Vista business and I installed Vendio Desktop.

Can't synchronize anything. I used the chat but they always come back to SM pro.

I need help!
Thank you.

Hello,

Did you install Sales Manager Pro, or Vendio Desktop?

With your account you will need to use Sales Manager Pro. Vendio Desktop will not work with your account.

This is the only software program that will work with your Vendio account:

Which kind of account do I need to use Vendio desktop?

SM pro doesn't work with Vista. Even following all the steps, it crashes every so often.

Thank you

Hello,

You have a Vendio account. Sales Manager Pro works with your Vendio account. Vendio Desktop works with Andale accounts.

Vendio recently released a new home page and corporate site, which now features products available through both the Vendio and (formerly) Andale services. When this new corporate site was released, the customer account information was combined into the same database, and all Andale tools were rebranded. This was the first step toward our final consolidation plan, which is currently being defined.

Sales Manager Pro works with Vista. Sometimes it does take a bit of work to get it working correctly. Did you try running Sales Manager Pro is XP mode, like I last suggested? What were the results?

Regards,
Nathan

I definitively tried and tried, followed the steps and re-did it again and again.

Bottom line. It doesn't work correctly.

And please don't tell me I didn't follow the steps correctly. SM pro doesn't run well under Vista.

What do I need to do to have an Andale account? www.andale.com goes to Vendio.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

We are sorry to hear that it isn't working properly on your copy of Windows Vista.
Please see also our reply to your thread in the SMPRO specific forum.

To get an Andale style account, log out of your own account and go to the Vendio.com homepage, then click to sign up as a brand new user. This (currently) will enroll you into the Andale platform of tools, of which Vendio Desktop is supported.)

Regards,
Christopher

I gave up on SM pro. I signed a new account and wow... I like what I see

In which direction does the Vendio service go? this new account I created or the 'old' one?

Can I merge the 2 accounts into the new one?

Thank you.

Hello,

Technically, its going in both directions. There are tools and services in both that will make it to the combined service due out at a later date.

The Vendio Desktop tool you see now is what will be used instead of Sales Manager Pro once the combined tools are available.

Part of the process being worked on is making the transition from one style to the other, for both sides of the tools, but that is not in place at this time. There are no options currently to merge your accounts, you would essentially be starting over with the new one (which is why we don't usually suggest making the switch for either style user, whatever their reason is currently for wanting the other.)

Christopher

I have noticed that the announcements featured on the home page have removed the info on combining multiple Vendio accounts into one account.

Will this new program allow me to merge two or more E-bay accounts into one vendio account.
This account having one checkout, picture file and listing tool to seamless manage all of my accounts in one form.

Or will it be an newer version of the same old thing?

Hello Roger,

When the combined listing tool becomes available, it will support multiple eBay ID's.

Christopher
