My 7-day "Remember me" expired this morning, so I was immediately taken to the home page. In order to sign-in again I had to click the link in the upper right hand corner, was taken to a separate sign-in page, and THEN I was taken to the control panel summary.
Can't you just put the login on the home page? It's not like it would take up a huge amount of real estate, and would eliminate a click to a new page.

Hello Terre,
In order to provide our customers with a more secure environment, we have moved our account login to a secure (https) encrypted page. Because of this we are unable to provide a login field on the home page directly. If you are having difficulty using the login link on the home page, we would suggest bookmarking the login page for easy access.

Thanks Nathan for the reply. That's a bummer. Well, could you make the home page an https page as well, or is that killing an ant with a hammer?

Hello Terre,
Unfortunately, doing that could potentially cause much greater problems. The safest way to do this without causing problems for our customers is to not have the login field on the home page directly.
