Since I cannot predict what 2 or more items one buyer purchases, what do I need to put in my auctions for combined shipping rates using the calculated option? I was hoping it could be figured by the weight entered into each listing when I created the auctions not by a flat rate price i.e. "each additional item add $$$".
If you use calculated shipping carriers, no worries as the system will calculate the cost automatically. You can setup in your preferences if you want it to calculate as though all items were shipping in a single package or all separate. (from global preferences)
If you are using fixed shipping rates, the system will charge the highest regular shipping cost out of all items being combined, and use the 'cost when combined' field for the rest of the items in your order.
